I am extremely disappointed with your PureIt service. I had lodged a request for battery kit replacement (Rs. 365) on 11-Oct-2010.

After 3-4 days of continuous follow up, the service exec came to my house today at a time "convenient" to him (and not convenient for the customer). He had brought a battery kit for Rs. 510 as Rs. 365 was "out of stock".

The kit that he has replaced also does not work, the water does not come down from the first chamber (having carbon filter). Again I have lodged a complaint and I am sure it will NOT be attended to

I then check with your call center, who very conveniently tell me that I indeed placed an order for Rs. 510. I would have been fooled by them, had I not preserved the order confirmation message from PureIt, which clearly mentions that I have ordered a PureIt kit for Rs. 365. Thus everyone from your exec to the call center people are lying blatantly about me placing an order for Rs. 510

I have raised multiple complaints against my cell number, but have not got a single call back to resolve the complaint. I have even spoken to your Sr Exec - Mr Ramesh today morning, who assured me that the complaint would be looked into, but there is no response as usual.

Surprisingly, I am getting SMS that complaints are in resolved status - looks like the complaints get auto closed in 48 hrs to maintain the SLA irrespective of whether resolved or not.

I think you have too many customers now to bother about individual issues. All the issues are taken in stride and no one bothers to resolve the complaints on time. For the past 4 days, I am buying mineral water from outside (@Rs. 45 per day) hoping that the issue would be resolved the next day, but nothing happens

Hope you could have shown same enthu that you show in your 1 crore TV ad to maintain your customers. I have almost made up my mind to look for some better products in the market and get this replaced permanently

Pure it — No response for customer service

I purchased the pure it product on 9th march 2009 and the battery life expired on 20th june, since then am calling the AP Call Centre for replacement of the battery but everytime they assure me for the replacement, which is the fake one. Everytime when i use to call them either they will be asking for the problem or they willl be go on asking for my complaint no. i, e S09/ HYD[protected] . It sounds like as if they are following the customer problem.

HLL Pure it site shows the real face of the company. It shows how good they are servicing the customer.

Plz i request to the HLL company holder to look after this matter.

I[censored] can't solve the customer problem plz stop the advertisement and production of this stupid, useless product furthur so that no other will be willing to buy this product.

I think the HLL company is fake one.

Pure It — Not attending the lodged complaint

Dear Sir,
I am Siddhalingesh (Siddhu) staying in Kharadi, Pune. I have lodged a complaint regarding the leakage of the water purifier of Pureit on Monday. Their representative told us that they attend the complaint within 1 working day. But now I am calling them and reminding them everyday and they are giving false committment of attending the problem. It is now 4th day and none have turned back. Our purifier is just 7months old and has turned out faulty. We are having this leakage problem since 10days. We are really unhappy with their bad service.
Please help us to resolve this matter.

        Dear Concern, I am happy to share the experience of private service department related purifier PUREIT. My friend also user of your product mrp 3200. When we purchased your filter when I am worry about its service because before two years back your product is like new child in Ambala but now your product is available in market shops also. After lot of other filters in market your product availability is too high as per my knowledge. Other side your service is outstanding. so in few words your sales and service team is great so my wishes to all Hindustan lever team. Best of luck for future.

          Hi, I bought PUREIT COMPACT on 15th May and the battery expired in June itself, (we are a family of two) after making n number of complaints nobody turned up from the service centre and everytime after the call we recieve a message saying that your complaint is registered and will be recitfied soon.

          Last time when the complaint was made and was registered the executive called up and said that we do not have the battery available with us, please buy and fix it of your own.

          Can please anybody look into this case and solve our problem at earliest. We didnot buy PUREIT for drinking dirty water.

            I had applied for the purchase of a 9 litre Pureit Water Purifier for home delivery and the machine was promptly delivered at home. The people who delivered the machine had done a demo as to how the machine works and how to maintain it. Four months later the machine was not working properly and the company people were contacted over the phone. For the past one and a half months, i have made 13 phone calls but nobody is yet to turn up. The excuse they give is that they cannot locate the house. When it came to delivering the machine, they could locate the house. But when complaint was registered, they say they cannot locate the house. The Pureit company should be punished for false information and their product should be banned from the market, because their product is definitely not working the way they advertise.

              I HAVE FOUR FAMILY MEMBERS ALL ARE ABOVE 20 YRS. OUT OF THAT 2 PERSON GO TO MARKET FOR 8 TO 10 HOURS. MY WATER CONSUMPTION SO LITTLE BUT MY KIT OF PUREIT BECOME RED IN 3 MONTHS. SERVICE IS ALSO VERY POOR AFTER COMPLAINT NO PERSON CONTACT TO CHANGE KIT. BUT SMS RECEIVED THAT MY COMPLAINT ATTAINED.I THINK PUREIT IS THE SALE & FORGET PRODUCT. I NEVER SUGGEST TO ANY ONE TO PURCHASE PUREIT BECAUSE IF YOU PURCHASE THERE IS NO OPTION TO WAIT & PURCHASE SO COSTLY KIT.

                i have made variuos ph calls to order one germ kill battery of PURE IT for my home pure it.whenever i made a call to the concerned customer service cell they haveassured me to attend or give service within 24 hours of my call. but nobody have attended me from pure it till now. i have my order booking no-S11/DPR2538/000327. if you cant give the committed services to the consumers then why did you made the commitment.

                  I am writing with regards to the bad service from Pure It for the change of the battery (Germ Kit) .

                  The Unit of the water purifier comeswitha auto stop pnce the battery is finished.
                  I Requested for a battery ( Germs kit) replacement on Friday 8th Oct and was assured i will get ion wwithen 72 hours.

                  I had informed them that i do not have drinking water at my home since the battery is not dispensing the pure water.

                  On Friday i had booked a Germ kill kit through custemer care booking No. S10/GGN[protected] he ensour to me Germ kit will be available at your house before 72 hour .
                  On saturday a person call to me on morning he says to me due to non available the germ kit, we con't give you the kit before tuesday.
                  So i again i goes to custemer care and logding the complaint ( C[protected] on saturday after noon. Custer care person Permila asked me after one hour my representative call to you , and we replace your kit same day before 8pm.

                  After two hours i have not received any call regarding that subject again i called custemer care and talked Mr. Ragav I says to ragav have wait last two hours but no budy called me regarding my germ kit replacement . he told me your kit wiil may be available next 72 hour working day, day will counting on monday.

                  So I am fed-up calling them and faceing problem, hope i get help..

                    Pure it — new cartridge

                    i am unable to get the contact person and the telephone no that who can arrange a new catridge.
                    I have been trying to get battery of my Purit changed since last 10 days . Each time I am assured that the service engineerr will attend irt but that never happens. I warn all the customers who are thinking of buying it to not to do that otherwise you will also repent. My word to Hindustan liver also please be professional in your dealing .

                    I have booked a battery on 7/Apr/09 almost 12 days are gone but till date they have failed to supply me a new battery although whenever a customer book a batery they give an assurance of within 3 working days supply. This is not the first time they have supplied me a battery in the previous time in almost 15 days. I think in this way Hindustan Uniliver will loose its market gradualy.

                    The Pure IT water purifier the Company HLL has not the change the battery for last 15 days. The executives who pick the phone are not doing there work. They register the compliant and doesnot proceed with what the compliant is from consumer. They do not respond to the calls. The services is horribledo not buy PURE IT (HLL PRODUCT)
                    i requested for a battery change on 24-08-09. no body responded till 29-08-09. today i have given a complaint on corporate no. still there is no response. such apoor srvice backup from such a 'big name" co. is absolutely frustrating. either improve or this product is going to disappear from the market very soon.

                    similar cpmplaint.booked for battery change vide order NO. 050234 dt 16.10.09. not attended till date. complained numeraous times. every time they ask for mobile no to send message asking us to confirm that the complaint ahs been attended to ans when we reply negative (cpde GKB 0 as prescribed by them) there is no rsponse.

                    Sir,

                    On[protected] I contacted sales executive on [protected] and placed an order for battery and he created my customer Id No.[protected] and informed me that within 2 working days from[protected] the technician will come and install the battery and I have to pay Rs.580/- to the technician but till today i.e. on[protected] no such technician came to me for installation of the battery. Please look into the matter and let me know that whether my order is booked or not and if the order is booked when I will be provided with the battery.

                    I had purchased PURE IT water purifier last year and i got a scratch card in which i received an extended warranty of 1 year. I had called customer care and got it registered immediately on the day of purchase Everytime your service agent comes he charge us the service fees saying it is not registered with us. i have the ref id for the same but no one is aware of it. the entire body of my purier is leaking badly adn when we called customer care they said mam your battery needs to be changed and he changed it last month. Again within 15 days it again started leaking and now when we called customer care they arranged a service ma. This person is called me and is saying that you need to pay fees of rs 150 again or else he will not come.                       This is with regard to the Pureit water purification device that was delivered to my Residence on JANUARY 26th, 2010 from M/S JALARAM AGENCY SANDU MARG, CHEMBUR.
                      On opening the packaging the lid of the unit was found cracked and the delivery boy Mr.IRFAN ANSARI 573 did acknowledge the same on the invoive with a refrence call to Mr.Kundik (Mob:[protected]) who said the the unit will be exchanged the very next day which was not done by any of the above persons.
                      On this when called after a week the mobile no of Irfan was switched off or not being picked up, the same when called Kundik the mob no was false as given.
                      when i called the helpline the executive asked me to deposit the unit at SAFE WATER ZONE on Feb 20th 2010 which in our area is near Sandu Garden and the same was followed and the acknowledgement taken from Mr.Rahul who in the first place neglected and argued not accepting the unit but once when he called Kundik he accepted it.

                      After not receiving any call from the company for 48hrs i called the helpline and the complaint no is:C[protected] as on Feb 23rd 2010,
                      But even after seven months of not receiving the unit or the amount back I have called on the 4th of Oct and lodged a another complaint (complaint No:C[protected] and to which i got angry when the executive Raghav asked me if I was sleeping for so many months, on my request to forward me to his higher authority he bluntly denied and afterwards told me they were busy in meetings.

                      Firstly i was sold a damaged unit and then kept on waiting for the same to be replaced for over a month and later had to wait on false promises which eventually resulted me wasting my money for 9 months.

                      I sadly inform you that Hindustan Unilevers inability to provide a proper solution for a long period of 9 months leaves me with only one option that I should get my money back as I do not trust this product nor the company anymore.

                      My customer ID [protected] and the device sr.no. is MSB[protected] AND THE INVOICE NO ISO/[protected] Please pay heed to this complaint and respond urgently by refunding me the amount Rs.2000/- with interest and taking action against the employees involved in this.

                      Overlooking costumers’ grievances appears very common at Pureit, but such apathetic attitude could force costumers to resort to the legal actions.

                      Hindustan Unilever `Pureit' — Many complaints no Response...

                      I amvery sorry to write this type of complaint or comments with regard to Hindustan Unilever `Pureit' .
                      I have purchased this products, in last year. And the battery indications showed red, then i requested to change the battery and i have agreed to pay the chargable amount also and the order no. is S09/hyd[protected]. But they are not provide me the service then i have launched the complaint on 14 of march 2009. Complaint no is C09976104. then after they have not provided me the serice and the result is my kids got very very sick, we have spend lot of money.

                      Again i have given complaint and said that i will give in press, that you are not providing the services and selling you products. By this also they have not yet changed the battery or what ever. And other complaint numbers is [protected]/[protected]/C[protected].

                        HINDUSTAN LEVER Pureit

                        Reg: Complaint against much much less throughput of safe water than specified from pureit
                        germkill battery kit

                        This is to inform you that since purchase of purifier of Hindustan Lever make on 21/02/2008, the latest germkill unit installed on 01/06/2010 delivered the least amount of safe water which is beyond any stretch of justifications. In case of earlier kits also, I had noted the anomaly but this time it has been proved beyond doubt that the germkill unit’s purification capacity is much less than what is claimed by HUL even after taking variation of temperature and humidity into consideration.

                        Let me explain how I came to this conclusion.
                        • We are only two family members.
                        • Water from pureit is consumed exclusively for DRINKING purpose.
                        • Drinking water consumption is 5.5 Liter/day (maximum).
                        • The purifier unit is placed in a room at ambient temperature.
                        • A kit of 1500 liter purifying capacity was replaced last time on 01/06/2010.
                        • Life of this kit ended on 25/09/2010, i.e., after 112 days (We were out of station for 5 days).
                        • That means, purified water quantity was 112 X 5.5 Liter= 616 Liter (40% approx.) against an expected amount of 1350 Liter (considering de-rating of capacity by 10% due to fluctuation in temperature and humidity).

                        I felt terribly upset that a reputed company like HUL could mislead their consumers this way!! I had contacted Pureit Helpline Number[protected] and lodged my complaint and demanded free replacement of batterykit immediately. One service technician had come on 01/10/2010 but expressed his inability to replace free and hinted at delay in settling the issue. He suggested writing to you. However, I had submitted one formal complaint through him. As I am not sure how much time you will take to address the complaint, I had no other alternative but to get kit replaced with a new one against full payment.

                        I would request you to reimburse the price of kit amount fully as your product failed to deliver desired quantity of purified water let alone the case of specified amount of 1500 liter.

                        This will not be out of place to mention that I had once influenced my sister, brother, relatives and friends to go for Pureit. Now, what an irony! I regret having advised them. Not only that, I had even purchased one Pureit during my 6-month stay at Guwahati.

                        I do hope, you will do needful as otherwise I will be constrained to move to CONSUMER COURT. Also, I will make no stone unturned to pass on the info o[censored]nder-capacity of Pureit to its competitors and Newspapers. I have no problem if you mention the exact purifying capacity of each germkill unit. You must know there is economics behind every purchase.

                        Hindustan Unilever Pureit — Germkill Battery kit not of full capacity

                        Dear Sir,
                        I had purchased a Long Lasting Germ Kill Battery Kit costing Rs. 550/- on[protected], this kit should ideally filter 2250 litres of water as per the claim of the company.On an average we filter around 12 to 14 litres of water in a day. earlier the Kit used to last us around 170 days. the present Germkit has lasted only 138 days from[protected] till today that is 138*14 litres(max) = 1932 litres total , I am sure this kit was a defective one.

                        This morning I telephoned the Helpline no. and spoke to Anuradha to order a fresh kit. I also complained about the earlier kit being defective, to which she replied that because of the summer the Chlorine gets exhasted faster, and there were affirmed other complaints too. But this is not the first summer, I have been using pureit for the last four summers.

                          Dear Pureit,
                          I had purchase your so called ESTEEM product on 26.06.2009.After that I suggest my cousins and closed friends about your good products and among those 5 persons had purchaseed already.
                          The Battery life of your product is never completed as per your commitment.
                          Second and Major issue is some months back we found some COCKROACH and FLY inside the filtered water chamber, immediately we call to your TOLLFREE no. and accordingly the person comes and checked, found some point by which those insects goes inside. Second time after almost 2 months same later same things happen, again we lodged complaint and your person comes and they put some Cellotape!!!!! on it, that time only the maid servant was in home so they went by give that meaningless solution.
                          Finally yesterday again we found the same things and I !!!! called to your TOLL FREE no. Mr.Mahesh has recieved the complaint, at around 2.40 p.m. he commit me that he will send the person within one working day. Today, at around 3.30p.m again I call to the TOLLFREE since no one has come till that time. Around 5.30 p.m today one person comes to inspect and he too is not confirm what is the actual fault, and how these insects goes inside the FILTERED WATER CHAMBER.
                          Now the situation is like that if you are playing with us please don't try to do that.
                          1.I need the PROPER and PROMPT solution within 24 hrs. from this complaint given.
                          2.If for God shake any persons of our family felt in shickness with causes of Drinking water related, you need to give the full compensation.
                          3.Please change the DEVICE 100% with a NEW one so that I will not face any trouble in feauture.
                          4. If you are not agree with the replacement (the minimum solution) I don't have any alternate solutiona and will knock the door of Consumer Court without any hesitations.
                          Now decision is in your hand hope, you will understand this matter very seriously and will give us the Best of the Best solution.

                            We have purchased Pure It Water filter in November 2008,

                            During last month we have replaced the batter as per usual practice from your one of the dealer, to to our surprise Its very upset and rediculous to say that the filtered water was full of BLACK ALGAE, this was their for almost 2-3 weeks, then finally in the 4th wek we started getting clear water, but against last week we have observed that the batter ( which is full of alum i believe is again full of BLACK ALGAE what we call as SHEVALE in marathi,

                            We have loadge the complain in your customer care, but till date nobody has attended, I have samll kid of 1 1/2 year, if something happens to her who is going to pay.

                            U PEOPLE R SHOWING LOTS OF ADVERTISEMENT ON TV THAT, if somebody gets unpurified water they can claim for so and so amount, NOW WHAT, I REQUEST YOURSELF TO ATTEND MY COMPLAINT SERIOUSLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

                              This is to bring to the notice of Hindustan Unilever Ltd , that we are a Model Management company named Lukmance Fashion Event and Model Management Pvt Ltd.

                              The complain is for the Hamam soap advertisement which was conducted on 13th Sep 2010 we as model management company had coordinated for the models for the same, after receiving the confirmation that we will be receiving the payment in 15 days time. The same was communicated to the models, now it is more than 1 month we have not received the payment for some reason or the other.This is creating a big problem for us as it is nearly impossible to handle the angry models who are very upset with all this.

                                i purchased a new pure it compact for rs 1000/-. the glass chamber got broken due to accidental fall, in 2 -3 days after purchase. it is more than 2 months, i complained to the local dealer, but till now , they say , the spare parts are not available, as it is a new introduction. i was asked to buy a bigger model for rs 2300/- ( rs 2000/- the cost of the new piece, plus 300/- for the cost of broken glass). i dont want to waste extra money for a bigger model as i dont need.

                                  i had given a complaint regarding pureit that the water is whitish and metalic taste.. it took me 5 complaints over a span of 15 days to manage to get the to my home they replaced the germ kit later the transparent chamber and charged me 1100Rs.. but still the water remains same i am on a quest to get them back to look at it again.. the amount that i have spent i could as well bought a new one...

                                      com battery kit, tehy will make u cry like any thing. I have been using this pureit for 2 yrs now and eveery time u book an order for the kit it will never come. Either ur order goes missing or they wil say our person visited and ur house was closed. or any damn excuse.                                         Pure It water filter germ kill battery fitted with original pack worked more than six months, but when it replaced with a new kit, it does not work as original.
                                        This time I purchased bigger size so that it could run for long time . Unfortunately the indication did not show red, still white but water takes about 10-12 hours to get filtered. Secondly the quality of filtered water is also not upto the satisfaction. Layers of the calcium etc. can be seen in the filter.

                                        Thus It is not hygienic and the filter is not worth.

                                        HLL/Pureit — Non delivery of Germkill Battery Kit

                                        Sir,

                                        I have purchased Pureit water purifier of Hindustan Unilever company on 08 Sep 07. From April 08 to till date I am running from door to door for want of Germikill Battery Kit which is a mandatory spare for the purifier. I have registered for the subject item with their customer support number [protected]. The person attended my call assured me of delivering the kit within three working days. But I am yet to receive the kit. Kindly intervene.
