Terrible experience with Qatar Airways. PNR - PW9IVB.
Paid Rs. 1, 05, 711 for an upgrade to business class from BLR to IAD on Feb 19th, 2022 - amount got debited from account, but upgrade was not successful. Then the second time, used Credit Card to purchase the upgrade which was successful. The
State Bank of India says the online banking transaction is settled with the merchant. Almost 4 months now, and I still haven’t received the refund of duplicated transaction of Rs, 1, 05, 711.
Over 30 phone calls, multiple emails to the customer care, yet no update from them. Every time I call them, I am told to check back after 48 hours, and this is the same response I have been getting for almost 4 months. It’s annoying and frustrating how Qatar Airways has been holding my money for so long and not refunding it back.
The worst part is they don’t arrange a callback/email and you have to call every time and explain the same issue.
Attached the transaction snapshot, response from bank. Consumer Complaints Forum, please look into this issue and help me get back my amount at the earliest. Thank you.
