Qatar Airways — Reimbursement of tickets purchased due to flight diversion

On 6 May 2025, my wife and I were booked to travel on Qatar Airways flight QR 731 from Qatar to Dallas. The flight was diverted to Houston, and no alternate connecting arrangement was provided by Qatar Airways to our final destination, Pittsburgh. As a result, we were compelled to purchase new tickets to Pittsburgh at our own expense, in addition to incurring conveyance charges. A claim for reimbursement of these expenses, including the ticket fare and related costs, has been submitted to Qatar Airways. Despite repeated follow-ups, the matter remains unresolved, and Qatar Airways has been unduly delaying the settlement. I request immediate reimbursement of the full claimed amount along with confirmation of the settlement timeline.
