[Resolved] Quikr — advertising - issue of wrong commitment | |||
This Guy Akash and his Manager Shiv had been calling me for quite some time for advertising my CA firm on Quikr. I was reluctant however on continous false promises that the amount is a meagre one and will pay off I got into the ditch. Amount Involved - Rs 5000 in Cash plus I want to make false representation claim and harrasment claim of Rs 100000. Aakash kept insisting that he will make all possible efforts to make sure that the advertising pay off. Ultimately he came to my home and then after lot of conviction he offered a good rate and said you please pay in cash and we will make sure that your advertisement is worthwhile. I had even then told him that if the Product does not look convincing to me I shall seek refund which he and his manager said that you will never be coming in such a situation as we will provide you best of services. After giving him cash money he neither sent me a invoice neither called me up. However somehow some call center executive got my Firm advertising on its website. After a week or so I realised that I have been cheated and immediately demanded refund of the amount. Aaakash and his boss Shiv did not pay any heed to my queries and kept on postponing the issue saying sir please wait we will connect you to the call center we will speak to our superior please write mails ( which I did) and kept on postponing the issue attached is the chat with Aakash. We kept on parying that please I dont need the services please repay the amount and to my best of knowledge they did not care a bit. One last time I threatened him to take to consumer forum both quikr and him but still nothing happened and at last I had to file one consumer complaint against Quikr/Aakash/His Manager Shiv/Yogesh. number has been provided and yogesh spoke to me but I hope we reach to some final solution which does not seem to be working at the moment.
