[Resolved]  Quikr — complaint against scam payment

I received a call from the sales team with regards to my ad uploaded on their website. The person gave me an offer where i had to pay a certain amount to get my item sold. He clearly mentioned that they are the sales team and it’s their job to help customers sell their items. Since it was my first time he said that i had to only pay 50% of the amount and asked me for rs.1399. I was not sure if i should pay the amount and so i asked him if this was legit. He promised me that he would be sending me the invoice to the payment and assured me that this is a guaranteed process where the sales team takes the responsibility to sell the item for the customer. Also he mentioned that they have the contacts from pan india and so it’s their daily job to help customers like me. I made sure that i kept asking him over the call that it is a guaranteed process once the payment is done. He assured me that once i pay the amount, i become their first priority and that they will sell the item for me in 7 working days. All of this is recorded on their line since every customer service calls are recorded for training and quality purposes.
Thereafter i did not get any response from the team and so i called the care team for quikr and gave my complaint. The team has not yet investigated about this in spite of me calling them each day. The person that i last spoke to with regards to my complaint is “aisha” from the prime ad department. She assured me that they’ll look into this and give me my refund but nothing yet has happened.. I’m looking forward to your help to put this at a stop. The quikr sales team are giving false hope and information to their customers to achieve their targets.
This is pure scam and i’m very upset too.
