[Resolved]  Quikr — fake and non working product

I received delivery of a 50 inch brand new sony led tv product on 26 sept 2017. Today (27-sept) when i tried to install it and use it, its not working, later when i inspected it carefully, i realised that its a fake product. Delivery guys told me that we can return product in a week time, now i am unable to contact them. Please help me resolve this issue and help me get back refund of my money.

1) As soon as I posted my grievience in this portal I started recieving active support from quikr. 2) As a first step I asked them to hold transferring money (which they process in 2 to 3 business days) to seller. 3) Through other sources I managed to contact social media executive of quikr, from then they started handling my problem seriously. 4) I contacted seller and informed him that his payment is under hold (I recorded my audio calls with him) and convinced him to take back product. 5) Me, seller were conferenced by Quikr executive to confirm product return from me and seller. Later same was communicated over email. 6) I returned the product to the location where seller gave me, after that he confirmed the same over email to quikr cc'ing me. 7) After 5 working days I received my refund. Caveats 1) I was warned by quikr executive that they are not responsible for quality of product. So, intercity purchases are very risky unless you go to seller's location and check the quality of product personally (why would someone use Quikr if we go and check the product ourselves). 2) I had to personally go to the location where seller asked me to return the product, in this matter Quikr didn't help me. 3) My action of asking Quikr customer care to hold the payment was the crucial step in this entire process.

In the ad they mentioned that the product was brand new and also the model no. mentioned in the ad doesn't match the model no. of the TV I received. I received a fake local made TV while they mentioned in the ad that it is Sony brand new TV. I have pictures to prove it.

1) Model no. doesn't match
2) Product description in the ad mentioned that it has 4 hdmi ports but the TV which I received has only 2.
3) Also the stickers on the TV has bar code which is invalid.
4) Model no. on the packaging and the model no. on the TV set doesn't match.
5) In the ad it was mentioned that product has 4k resolution, but the product I received doesn't have it.
