Quikr — online financial fraud with home appliances

I was looking for home appliances and got an advertisement on QuikrBazaar.

I called the ([protected]) dealer (Sunil Kumar), and he said he is an Indian Army officer and he got a transfer. That's why selling all the appliances mentioned in the link, he shared the Army canteen list of appliances and mentioned the final deal amount 42000.

Then he asked me to quickly share my address to deliver the appliances as he needed to go to the new transferred location. He also asked me to pay 5000 over Gpay to "Aman Sharma" no ([protected]).

I made the payment because I thought an Indian army officer couldn't lie. Then he shared the courier invoice and said I need to connect with Neeraj Kumar for further processing and shred his contact number ([protected]).

I called Neeraj Kumar, and he asked me to share the courier invoice and 14500 rupees. I asked how I could trust, then Neeraj Kumar shared a canteen card with the same name with Post (LEADING AIRCRAFTMAN), then I paid the amount.

When I made this payment, he said it's the wrong method and asked me to pay again where 14000 and 500 would be in separate. I asked for the current paid amount, and he mentioned that at delivery time he would give that amount in cash.

He mentioned he is in the Air Force, and the amount will not go anywhere, so I made this payment again.

Now he said your first payment is stuck and the receipt is not coming and asked me for the final closure amount 22500, I made that payment as well.

Then he asked me for the location where the appliances will be delivered, I shared the location, and he said the location does not match, so for the manual tracking update, they will require a security amount of 21160, where 160 will be deducted and the remaining amount will be refunded. This is an Air Force manual track update process, and he can't do anything if I do not pay this amount.

I have no idea about the Indian Army and Air Force shipment processes, but I thought both were government agencies, and government employees can't lie. So to save the previous amount, I made this 21160 transaction as well.

Then again, Neeraj said you need to pay 21107, not 21160. Now I thought it's not genuine, but he said at the time of delivery he will pay these amounts in cash, and he swears for his job that each rupee will be given to you; we will not keep it, and if I do not make this payment, the whole process will be on hold at this point. I know I was trapped, but when I asked for the amount back and he said he couldn't do anything, the only way is to pay this amount otherwise, I would get nothing, and finally, again, I made the 21107 payment.

He said he is just starting for the target location and will refund all the money in cash as well.

But after 5 minutes, he said due to late payment, the Air Force team is not allowing the shipment and is asking for a 25100 amount to clear the shipment, where 100 rupees will be deducted and 25000 will be refunded.

I said so far I borrowed 35, 000 to pay the above requested amount and the time taken for money arrangement, now I don't have a single rupee to pay, he said it will be on hold then. So I asked for money back, and "Sunil Kumar" dealer said he can refund the amount through "Demand Draft" only, and the minimum limit for DD would be 1 lakh, and he asked me to transfer the remaining amount to contact number ([protected]) and to save the entire amount, I paid 1500 again.
