[Resolved]  Quikr — quikr damaged product in transit and wants to push it back to seller

We had an excellent quality damro tv unit (Ad id:[protected] for which we had placed an advt in quikr website on 26/june/2017 to sell it for rs.9000.
One buyer was very much interested and offered a price of rs.8000 on 26/june and we agreed for the deal.
We got a notification that the buyer had paid the amount to quikr and the buyer also called us to confirm it.
Since the tv unit has glass cupboards, we requested for quikr service for dismantling it before the transportation. We paid rs.500 as the dismantling charges (Ref: quikr doorstep order[protected]_c2c_dismantle) upfront.
Subsequently the nominated dismantling person came to our home on 27/june and dismantled the entire unit and he also took photographs after dismantle process.

On 28/june late evening quikr logistics team came to transport it to the buyer. There was no damage to the product whatsoever when they took it from our home. The following day on 29/june, we received a call from quikr stating that the product got damaged before it actually got delivered to the buyer and accepted that the quikr logistics team was responsible for the damage.
The buyer who was really interested in the product felt sad and called us to state that the product got damaged by quikr people and buyer conveyed they clearly wrote it in the slip and gave to quikr team.

Later, quikr gives us a call and stating falsely that we need to take back the product as the buyer was not interested.
When we questioned repeatedly, quikr accepted it was the mistake of quikr logistics team in transit.

Meanwhile, we are being harassed repeatedly by quikr phone representatives who say that the product was 'rejected' by buyer as the product was broken and we need to take it back. When we ask how and when the product got broken they first feign ignorance and upon repeated questioning only they accept that it was broken by quikr logistics team during transit.in one of the earlier conversation we were told over phone that they will bring back the product to our premises and they just try to wash off the hands of the responsibility. On 14/jul evening around 4.30pm, a quikr representative (Who said his name was santhosh kumar) called. He also spoke in similar lines initially that the product got rejected by the buyer and that it 'might' be damaged and wanted to know the ticket id. When we specifically asked him how it got damaged and by whom, he had to eventually accept that it was damaged by quikr logistics. We were not in a position to check email as we was on road and told him that we had already emailed a complaint and the ticket id is available there which he can very well check. He shockingly conveyed that he does not have access to such emails and again asked me to provide the ticket id. We are not able to understand, how he is able to get the mobile number correctly and call, how he is aware that a ticket id is already there, and how he does not have access to the ticket id which is already there in the mail. We had to question him how he is not able to check within his own organization emails/departments to get the necessary data. He then promised to call me back after 7pm. Unfortunately, the call never came. Again on 16/jul, santhosh kumar called again and was saying that he wants to return the product.

It was a good condition product and looked brand new. It was dismantled by quikr supplied dismantling team. The product was transported by quikr logisitics. It was broken and damaged by quikr logistics before it reached the buyer, which was acknowledged by quikr.
It is quikr responsibility to ensure the safety and good condition of the product during delivery as how it left our premises, after it got sold. How do you expect us to take back a product broken and damaged by quikr and which will have lost its originality and good condition. This is very unfair.
We expect quikr to own the responsibility and provide us our due money for which we earlier had a good buyer who had also remitted the money. We moved in the new replacement product only after the buyer had remitted the money and the product was transported away by your quikr logistics team as do not have sufficient space in our premises to hold.

We have placed our good faith with such a bring brand like quikr, which we believe is worth more than $1 billion and much appreciate that you will take the necessary steps to provide us our due money at the earliest.
