[Resolved] Quikr — quikr door step ad id[protected] | |||||
A buyer from kurnool bought this item and paid upfront to quikr. Pickup got schedule from my home on 31st oct 2017 and item got picked up, pick up guy verified each and everything, capture the photographs and took the bed. On saturday 4th nov 2017 i received the update that schedules your item for reverse pickup as buyer canceled this. On checking with buyer, i come to know that the buyer also got the message that his paid amount will get returned to him and he further mentioned that he didn't cancel it and waiting for the item since he made the payment and still want that item. On checking with quikr, i received following replies : 1. It's intercity transfer and we don't perform the intercity transfer: Since beginning quikr was aware of this as buyer approached from quikr platform, also during one of the scheduling call on asking why quikr is charging 700+ rs, the executive told it's intercity transfer. When quikr do have all the information why quikr collected the money and arranged the pickup. 2. The item is fragile hence we can't deliver. This item is a teak wood (The first fine feature of teak furniture is that it is incredibly tough! https://goo.gl/VJVsbH) bed, it doesn't have any fragile part (Glass/mirror). Also, quikr can't deliver this to the buyer but quikr can deliver this product anywhere in bangalore and to my house back. 3. We can't ship this product intercity but within bangalore, we can transfer. If that was the condition then why quikr pick up the item at first place when quikr know that the buyer is from kurnool. 4. And now quikrs executives are saying arrange a reverse pickup else we seize your product. In any case, i am not going to arrange a reverse pickup as for quikr's fault it want buyer and seller to get penalized also now i am out of space. In this overall story, quikr did a lot of shoddy jobs: - intercity/intracity transfer: quikr had each and every information from the beginning. - if quikr's logistic team was having a problem with the shipment (Fragile... A big blunder) they shouldn't have picked up this item in the first place. - no consent from buyer/seller: quikr took the payment from the buyer, quikr took the bed from seller then without contacting/consenting buyer/seller quikr cancel the shipment returned the amount that too after keeping the money for a week and keeping the bed for 5 days. - mistrust among buyer and seller: quikr canceled the order and returned the money to the buyer without informing exact cause/reason. Also, it was not clarified to the buyer during the whole process. The buyer was mistrusting the seller, that seller didn't send the item. I need to step up and clarify to the buyer that quikr did this shoddy job. - miscommunication: every other executive brought up a new theory and story and wasted my precious time. It's now more than 2 weeks for this entire show if quikr will not take action soon then i am going to file the complaint. Was this information helpful? | |||||
