[Resolved] Quikr — quikr rto and re-registration services | |||||
I had to get my vehicle re-registered and road tax to be paid for the same. Had opted for quikr rto services assuming that they would be professional and the service levels to be decent. The initial responsiveness was amazingly quick till i paid the money. (In excess of 30, 000 rs of which, 8000 rs were their service charges). Was given a phone number and the details of escalation point of contact at that time. They promptly collected all the required documents (Original rc and noc inclusive). This happened on the 16th of march 2018. Amogh shetty and pramod kumar were the people from quikr who were involved in this transaction. To my dismay, i have not received a single meaningful update after that. I keep calling the number provided to me which is never answered. I keep sending whatsapp messages asking for status updates and no responses are received. I keep calling their customer care number to lodge a complaint and guess what! The person manning the phone (Arif or asif.. I don't remember the name as he never announces himself on the phone and is absolutely discourteous and impolite) transfers the call to the same phone number which was provided to me at the outset. Needless to say, the transferred call goes unanswered. Renuka prasad is supposed to be the next escalation point of contact who never responds to any emails. I even doubt if this person exists! I am now really worried about the money that i have paid and the original documents submitted to them. They have not shared any documentary evidence that the road tax has been paid and the process has been initiated. If i do not receive a satisfactory response and the proofs of road tax and registration payments, i will be approaching the consumers forum to request for adequate compensation towards the trauma caused by quikr rto services. I will be initiating the process in a weeks time if i do no hear from them. Was this information helpful? | |||||

I got my RTO work done from Quikr. It was a complex case but Quikr did a great job. Only thing is one needs to wait and push them. Not sure why they are slow. Its govt work - so one can never be sure on how active the key players are. I write this post mainly because I too went through a lot of pain during the this wait - took 2.5 months and that too they took the original documents.
