We have been in the business of pest controlling since 1982 and we have been carrying out services to quite a few prominent corporate, central / state government offices and psu's. I handle all of south indian operations. Couple of months ago mr. Satish, sales manager, quikr ([protected]) kept contacting me with regards to getting my company registered with quikr services, a new platform for showcasing my company and also leads generated on daily basis against a nominal payment. As i was registered with another app based service provider and was very much happy with their services, i didn't commit to it at that time. Then as he was repeatedly calling and requesting me, i thought of giving them a try. On 19/05/2016, i registered my company of 101 leads against a payment of rs. 9000/- and invoice no. Qs03808 with 2 guaranteed leads each day.

There after everything went for a toss.

I was committed that i will be receiving regular calls from the operations team to monitor the lead quality but it wasn't the case. Once my cheque got cleared thereafter not a single call was received from quikr's side. By then 3 weeks had already passed and i only received 12 leads. To my complaint, thereafter next couple of days i started receiving more leads but this time it was the quality of them. Most the leads generated happened to be some random people sitting in some other city who didn't even know what is pest control in the first place. By complaining on this i was put across to miss. Arathi, senior customer support manager ([protected]). Who blatantly just said that there isn't any problem with the leads generated and askedme to make a statement of each and every lead (By then we were at lead no. 40) and give them review on that, what customer said and why they didn't want pest control done. When i gave them some of the details they were not convinced with the same. Then it came to a stage where every other day i was put across to some new manager to whom i explained the same what was happening but everyone would just say that they would get back to me but never did. By then i was so frustrated and asked them to cut the amount of leads generated and requested to refund me the rest of the money, to which i got an answer that they do not have any procedure to refund payments.

There after i manually logged in to the app and stopped the lead generation. They have never called me back. Hence forth i am not even looking for any refund but hope none of the other customers fall into their trap.

I hope founder of quikr mr. Pranay chulet, sitting at the hq in mumbai knows what is happening in bangalore or is it infact his master plan to scam so extra revenue, to increase their evaluation of their business to find some new angel investors or venture capitalists happening.

If he is not aware of this, then i am taking it on myself to let him know about this happening through means of twitter or facebook or any other social media.

And if mr. Chulet is aware about this happening then he should change the tag line for his company from

Quikr - aasaan hai badalna. To.

Quikr - aasan hai customers ko popat banana

I bet this will definitely increase the curiosity and you will see an increase in the no. Of clicks on your website and in turn increase your revenue
