[Resolved]  Quikr — taking charges in advance but not delivering the service ad id:[protected]

The worst experience of all, ad id:[protected], made the payment after negotiating with the seller, got to know that the contact of the seller was wrong, the only way quikr was trying to contact the seller is via emails which seller was never responded. I am not sure how quikr validated the user with wrong contact number?
The worst is yet to come, i have to search user's correct contact for couple of days & i provided it to quikr to proceed this transaction further. Somehow pickup & delivery is scheduled. Seller booked 12-2pm 4th aug slot. Quikr suggested to book 2-4pm 4th aug slot to me.
I got a text from quikr that they picked up the product (Relaxing sofa) from seller at 12.34pm so i was waiting to come to my place. 3.45pm driver called me & told that he is at konkane chowk (10kms away from my location) & he has a delivery at bavdhan (22kms from my location) so he will do that first & then come to my place. No option, so i had to say yes.
7.45pm i called driver & checked, he said he will not be able to come. The reason was vehicle broke down. It was not the actual situation. Later he said that i should tell quikr that i am cancelling the delivery as its too late now & promised that he will deliver it next day between 10am & 12 pm. I denied him & called up quikr, filed a complaint against him, spoke to satheesha. He said he will do everything possible, but nothing happened.
Next day on 5th aug, i directly got a call in noon from quikr to reschedule the delivery, what a mess???
Why should i reschedule? Quikr missed it, messed it up & now to wind up this blunder, they are re-schedulling the delivery. Why would a customer pay for a service which he is not getting?
Moreover, quikr charges the doorstep/convenience charge at the time of payment which means in advance. Later, customer has no control over the things happening with the transaction. Also, now they have introduced platform fee as 1/2% of the total agreed price of transaction. They are just earning money but failing to provide that level of service.
I am escalating this matter since 4th aug but they are denying any possibility of refunding the charges back as i am eligible to get them back as quikr failed in every point they promised me while making payment. No on time delivery, only hassles, and now pathetic escalations where they continuously asking me to cancel the transaction & also charging me cancellation fee for it.
You should be ashamed of yourself by providing such customer support.
Customer do not have any control after making the payment, quikr app has loopholes, their process have loopholes actually.
The transaction will be vanished after scheduling the pickup & delivery, you cannot track it down from anywhere. Emails will be blocked & denied if you tell them that you will got to consumer forum against them.
They said they have a policy of not refunding the money/ charges even after they failing to deliver it. Also, quikr support told me that they dont have a legal department where i can check for legal aspects of the company for customer.
Not sure what is going on but for sure this is insane. A customer should not be charged for the service which you have failed to provide regardless you are trying to wrap it up by rescheduling it. & also the logistics team, they need to apologies for this blunder but quikr also denying for that, what a shame for such a company. You guys make money by advertising these features against your competitors, but the fact is you did not even close to meet expectations of the customers.

After so many follow ups by calling the customer service, They agreed to refund the service charges on 7th day & multiple talks with escalation specialists from Delivery & scheduling department of Quikr. They kept tossing me between two departments as it is not their failure but finally, I had to shout & shoot emails to business & post on social media & its done. They failed to provide me cashback on QUIKR100 & not even gave a reason for that. ****** service
Quikr customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Please do Not Only Acknowledge this complaint. I need results as Quikr already on the verge of cancelling the transaction.
