[Resolved] Quikr — unprofessional and unorganised - wasting seller time /efforts | |||||
This has reference to two bad experience my friend has met with while selling the product thru quikr. First he sold roller skated - the product price and everything was confirmed by the buyer before paying and when the product is delivered the buyer had changed his mind for reasons best known to him and gave an acceptable reason of size not fitting. The product was flexi-sized and can fit the sizes mentioned in the product ad - but customer might not have noticed or found better product at lower price and had no reason to cancel so he gave such unacceptable reason and the product was delivered back to the seller. This has again happened today when he had posted bicycle for sale. The buyer was communicated thru email and provided with all the details and conditions about the bicycle, but again today the buyer cancelled the order at the last moment when the delivery person contacted the buyer about collecting the delivery and the condition of the product. The buyer canceled the order for simple reason he found another similar product at a lower price. Are such reasons acceptable to cancellation of orders. Should not the sellers be penalised so that they do not take quikr and its sellers for ride by placing the orders and then cancelling without assigning a genuine reason. It is just harassing the quikr and the seller The platform allows to sell used products so the buyer must be reasonable prepared about the product condition or do a physical check before placing order and confirming on delivery. That really does not work out as you have no seller protection. It is just your and buyer protection. If you penalise the buyer for placing wrong orders or backing out from orders - the website will get genuine buyers and lessen such issues.
