Railway Reservation — increasing of waiting no. instead of decreasing after 79 days of booking

We booked a train no. 12445/uttar s kranti on 5th november from ndls to svdk (Maa vashnodevi) katra through internet. Our waiting was 5-6-7-8 ok. After 79 days name in the waiting was increased from 5-6-7-8 to[protected]. How it is possible. It may be possible to remain the same but cant increase.
I request you to kindly make a vigilance inquiry about the procedure going on in the railways reservation. It may be possible that this fact was never brought to your notice. Hoping immediate action.
