Rajdhani / Yamuna Power [Bses] — Change of name in electricity bill

Hi Sir,

I am deeply saddened to write this.

The electricity meter on 30/19, second floor, West Patel Nagar is being booked against my Father's name. He died on 10.10.2022. We have tried several times to get this transferred to my mother's name, who is the legal hier. We kept juggling between Patel Nagar and Shankar road office. Ech department used to ask us to go to each other and this happened a couple of times. Recently as well we tried again, but to no avail. Me and my mother have been visiting the office for the name change. When we would visit Patel Nagar, they would ask us to go to Shankar road and vice versa. Also to much of our shock, the staff behaved very badly with not just two o[censored]s, but with the rest of the consumers. When I mentioned that I would be raising a complaint for the behaviour they started behaving more inappropriately. Inspite of my mother being 65 years of age, she was made to stand for good couple of hours and the behaviour of staff was of sorry state. Today again when I visited to get some consultation in Shankar road, they asked me to go to the Patel nagar office.
Then I went to the office, however Mr Nitesh's behaviour was very rude. He was not at all interested to talk and was rude, since I had mentioned to raise the complaint against him.Then i requested that I am only looking for an alternate solution and hence want to meet the senior officer. He first refused and then asked to go to second floor. To add to my horror there was no one on the floor except the senior who was sitting in the cabin. The saying behaviour flows from the top hierarchy is very true for this case. He immediately told me why can't you understand, without even listening to the request. Then I said you haven't even listened to my petition, he said very rudely I know your case we can't do anything.

Do a citizen truly deserve this kind of behaviour who is only looking for an alternative and is seeking help from the concerned department. We all talk about helping our people a d giving respect, however the reality is this is the kind of treatment we give to a widow woman.

Case: We are loking to transfer the electricity bill from my father to mother.Property is in name of three brothers including my dad who is no longer with us. One of my uncle is refusing to sign on the NoC.
We have already submitted all the ID proofs, Survival members certificate, death certificate, copies of the mutation agreement
