I had booked a Kadamba bus ticket from the redbus site for a trip to Goa. The seat was confirmed and I printed out my Confirmed ticket. Now, once I got to the bus, the conductor see's that my name is not on the list, but instead my seat is booked in some other name. I immediately got on call with the customer care of redbus, but there was nothing they could do to help me out. There were 2 seats on that fateful day which were double booked and both from redbus.in
I had to reach Goa the following day, hence I had to take that bus as there were no other busses available. I had to sit the entire trip on the floor. I had paid the entire amount to get a comfortable seat in the bus and not a floor seat. The redbus customer care couldn't do anything to help me out. Some how I survived the trip with my rear paining like hell.

I gave a call to their customer care the following day and wanted to lodge my complaint. However, the person told me to write a mail to [protected]@redbus.in which I did. I followed up a couple of times with them regarding this. Till today, they have not even bothered to acknowledge or even reply to my mail. They have just taken their commission and sat happily there.

The main business redbus is in, is to book tickets. If it can't even do this, then there is no need for it to be in business. I have never booked on redbus since then, and will never again.

Because of sitting on the hard floor that night for the entire trip, I have developed pain in my joints for which I had to visit the doctor for medication which came to more than Rs.1000. Who is going to pay for this?
First of all I had to sit on the floor even after paying the full fair and now I have to pay for these doctor visits. I am totally disappointed with the response I've got from redbus. I have told all my colleagues about this and many have stopped using redbus.in for fear of this double booking. It's better to book from the main site of the travels itself.

I hope if redbus people are reading this, they will at least refund me my money, if not my medical expenses.

    Dear Sir,

    I had booked AC bus tickets for Haridwar to Delhi dated 12th June,2011 Night for 4 persons amounting Rs. 1900/- through your company with seat nos.27,28,29 and 30 of Empire Travels ( Ticket Nos. TD6X94973288 and TD6X[protected] for boarding at Haridwar at 11.59 PM. However, on the afternoon of 12th June,2011 it was informed over phone that the said Bus can't enter Haridwar that day and we have to board the Bus from Dehradun on the same day at 09.30 PM. I was with my family at Rishikesh as per our plans and it was impossible for me to manage to come back to Haridwar, take luggage and go to Dehradun and reach there by even 10.00 PM as I was to come back at haridwar by 9.00 PM. Moreover, my request of adjusting my journey to next date was also not entertained. Subsequently , I was forced to book tickets from other Travel agent and return on next day i.e., 13th June,2011.

    I now request you to kindly arrange for refund of my money for the journey which I could not make due to none of my fault as the same travel agent on 12th Night at 10.00 PM confirmed my inability to board the bus and after that allotted the seats to other passengers.

      Ticket Cancellation money not refunded

      I booked my bus ticket by REDBUS on 21 May 2011(Ticket number (TIN): TD6K39963447 from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad for dated 29 May 2011 that tckt amount was 880/- Rs. and cancelled it on 28 May( tracking number is 5649276. )

      But my problem is that still i have not received that refund amount in my bank account and in received cancellation mail you mention that i will return that amount within 5 days( For your reference i...

      i am residing in bangalore.on 31st may 2011 i booked a ticket through redbus order no:-4772755.ticket was not booked and the amount was deducted from my account.as from that day till today i am continuously in touch with the redbus customer care regarding the refund of amount but i had not got any active response from that side.instead they had earlier told me that the amount would be reverted back within 5 working days but after the completion of the said time they had been stating various issues regarding the problem with the payment gateway,not able to find the problem etc.so it's my humble request that please look forward towards this complaint in a very professional as well as it should be looked forward as fast as possible.the amount stated is Rs1740/-.i would be obliged for your service.
      To them the customer is just another nuisance once the payment is receieved by them.
      Even they are not given mine Rs 504

        I have booked a cash on delivery ticket from Red bus on the 25/5/11 from Pune to Hyderabad. The travel date was 29/5/11.However, i cancelled the ticket on 27/5/11 by speaking to redbus customer care and sending my bank details to them on the same day. I was promised by the customer care executive that the money would be refunded in 4 working days. its been more than 18 days that i did not hear anything from them, even afetr repeated calls and mails.
        today (14/5/11) i get a mail from one of the executives that Red bus has issued a cheque (of lesser amount) and it will take 7 working days to get that cheque cleared. even outstation cheques of different banks get cleared in 3 working days. Therefore, not only it has been a harrasment for me to constantly follow up with these people, but also it is ridiculous in the way they have been taking their own sweet time.

        The Customer should not be violated to such an extent that they lose their patience and start feeling helpless at the end in front of these bloody money making goons who just know how to take money and not return them.

        I dont know if anything would be done in this regard (as i have utter trust in the abilities of our government) but at least i can pen down my experience of the hell hole i have been through so that other people can be aware of these menaces while bookink tickets inthe future.

          I booked my bus ticket by REDBUS on 26 May 2011(Ticket number (TIN): TD6R[protected] from Hyderabad to Ernakulam for dated 28 May 2011 that tckt amount was 1600/- Rs. and cancelled it on 27 May( tracking number is 5714798) due to some personal reason.

          But my problem is that still i have not received that refund amount in my bank account and in received cancellation mail you mention that i will return that amount within 7 days( For your reference i am forwarding your mail with this mail).

            Hi,

            I have booked a ticket for 29May2011 (Sunday) from Coimbatore to Chennai (Ticket No: TD6U[protected]. Before travel around 07.15 PM I received a call from[protected]Official redbus.in number) and told that the bus broke down and travel is cancelled and immediately terminated the call.

            I didn't receive any SMS from redbus.in saying that the ticket was cancelled (Earlier I have cancelled and I received the SMS, so I know it already). I called up redbus.in[protected] and verified whether its valid. The operator got the information and redirected to the guy who told me that the bus was broke down. Upon asking about the SMS he mentioned that concerned person is not available and SMS will be sent on Monday (30May2011) and refund will happen on around Friday (03Jun2011). He identified himself as "Karthick". I didn't travel on that day.

            I called up redbus.in on Monday, but there was no track record of all the earlier discussion and I had to explain everything to lady named "Pavithra". She told she will call me back.

            Till today (03Jun2011-Friday) I didn't receive any call from redbus.in about this compliant. When I spoke to the customer care[protected], they are mentioning that we are not responsible for any refund and requested me send an email to [protected]@redbus.in

            It seems there is no response on the customer escalations or complaints and this mishandling of calls lead to customer frustrated.

            Any immediate action would lead issue not to trail to other customer and request to refund the amount which has been debited from my account (Rs.900)

              I had booked a ticket on redbus website but the ticket was not issued and money was deducted from my account. I was asked to send a mail to "[protected]@redbus.in","[protected]@redbus.in","shaik.... to get the money refunded back to me.
              Inspite of my several mails and telephonic conversation with the redbus team neither have they refunded the money back nor did i get any reply from the redbus team regarding this issue.

              Details of booking:
              Reference Number :5502233
              Ticket Booked : Udumelpet to Chennai ( 2seats)
              Amount deducted: Rs.1100/-

              I have attached the image of confirmation from redbus that i got at the time of booking regarding the refund which is not yet done .
              Also i have attached the bank statement showing the amount deducted from my account.

              I humbly request to please resolve this issue.

                I have booked the ticket from Pune to bangalore and next day i got a call from redbus that ticket has beed canceled due to some break down and money will be refunded within 4days but still they have not refunded the money and im very frustrated the poor service of redbus so please do not book the ticket through redbus as they cheat us....i also called to redbus customer care they said sent mail to support and i have sent many mails to that email id but no response yet..Vey very poor service beware of redbus........

                  REDBUS IS THE BIGGER ONLINE CHEATER!!!! Refund of Amount
                  SIR,
                  I tried to book ticket from Chennai to Rajamundry, i got message like , my amount has deducted from account and i didnt get my ticket for that, , rupee 1200/-has been deducted , but i didnt receive my ticket. I had been requesting these REDBUS customer care support people for last 16 days to revert back my amount, still it was not happened. Almost i spend rupees 350/- extra in making calls for the customer care people, but it was vein.

                  So please help me inthis issue to get back my amount, and take necessary actions on REDBUS to get back customers deduct amount less than 3 days like how www.irctc.co.in is providing.

                    Hi,
                    I tried to book a ticket using the facility of redbus.in on 5th May, 2011. Money (Rs.450) was deducted from my account and the message said there is some technical problem and money will be reimbursed by 12th May, 2011. I have been following up with them through e-mail and phone (at Bangalore office) and they initially asked for screenshot of my bank statement and later kept on giving promise to pay back in 4-5days.
                    Each and every time I am given the promise of reimbursement in 4-5 days time and nothing had worked out till now.
                    Kindly guide me on what has to be done next.

                      Dear all,

                      this is the worst way of cheating an individual, I have booked a ticket online using Redbus.in unfortunately I cannt make up for that trip I canceled the ticket and got an conformation email saying your ticket is canceled but when I checked my account the amount didn't get credited they have send another mail saying you can use the amount as cash coupon who are they to hold our money and give us cash coupon, the proper way is they have to refund the money all of you please be careful with this website.

                        I booked the ticket from redbus.in travel from indore to pune tavel date is 29 may 2011. redbus ticket no TD6P24873884.

                        As per ticket the bus reporting time 7.45 PM and departure time 8.00PM .Boarding point :indore Landmark AB Road.But depart from indore station at 7 PM one hr earlier to schedule departure time and bus owner called us 5 min prior to left boarding point.

                        I contacted to customer care but i didn't get proper response from them and they were not willing to refund amount of Rs 2000/- only.

                          I cancelled a ticket from Chennai to Bangalore, got a mail from redbus that amount would be refunded after withholding some part of the money, but refund is not done after one week. Their helpdesk number on the website is a bogus toll free number that doesnt work.
                          Couple of days after i cancelled the ticket i was booking another ticket(I still hadn't realized they are a fraud company) when I got the message that money was deducted but ticket wasn't booked????? What sort of an error was this... a transaction either comes through or not..how can half of it go through???? Once again no refund done.
                          These are high- tech crooks who are making a quick buck. Beware!!

                            Hello,
                            I booked 2 tickets through RedBus from Pondicherry to Bangalore for 10th April-11 (10:30 pm departure) and the bus was cancelled at last minute by the travel company and authority at travel company office told that money will refunded directly in our bank account (As ticket was booked online ) .

                            After calling many times and sending mails to the travel company got the reply that responsibility is of RedBus to refund the money . First mail was sent to RedBus on 26th Apr-11 and so far I have sent 5 mails and called more than 5-6 times but yet to get the money for tickets refunded .

                            Redbus / — REFUND OF MONEY AGAINST BUS CANCELLATION

                            I booked 02 tickets to bangalore and back. The journey dates are[protected] &[protected] through Red bus for Sri Venkateswara Travels with ticket number (TCDQ[protected]. But the return journey bus was cancelled and the same is intimated by Sri Venkateswara Travels through SMS and the amount of Rs.700/- will be refunded to your account. But to till date there is no response from either Sri Venkateswara Travels or Red Bus.

                            Please do the needful in this regard and see that i can get the money as early as possible

                              To whom it may concern,

                              This communication is with reference to the refund of my money due to the horrible experience I had with Diwakar Travels and Redbus.

                              Ticket # TD6Q46749437, Pune to Hyderabad

                              I have booked the bus from Pune to Hyderabad for the date May 25th, 2011 yesterday evening. The reporting time mentioned on both the e-ticket and Redbus website was 8:05 PM. Also, the departure time mentioned was 8:20 PM from Chinchwad which was my boarding point. I happened to call the Diwakar Travels bus-driver regarding the confirmation. The driver was very rude and unhelpful. He informed that the bus will leave Pune at 7:00 PM which came as a shock to me. As per my schedule and the travel information given on the Redbus website, I opted for Diwakar Travels since they were leaving Pune at 8:20 PM. Now suddenly, the driver states that he is leaving not 5 or 10 minutes early but almost 1 hour 30 minutes early. I requested the driver to wait for me and also informed about the bus timing mentioned on the e-ticket. The driver rudely said that he is not bothered about all this and about Redbus. He said that if I have to catch the bus then I must be there by 7:00 PM and disconnected the call. Now, boarding the bus at 7:00 PM was impractical for me since I was at Hinjewadi in my office and I had to first go to Rahatani near Pimple Saudagar to pick up my luggage and then leave for the boarding point which was Chinchwad. I then called Redbus customer service and again got a horrible response. 3 representatives disconnected the call, 1 almost joked about my situation and hung-up on me. After explaining the issue 3 times to other 3 different representatives, I was told that my call is landed to Chennai and have to call Pune office for the concern. One of them even gave me an alternative Pune number ([protected]) and that also turned out to be out of service. After my repetitive attempts, 1 representative from Bangalore promised me a callback. I later received a call from Swapnil Bhokre who is with your Pune branch and he made attempts of helping me. But even his attempts failed. I spent additional 70 rupees to reach Chinchwad and realized that the bus driver has moved the bus just 5 minutes before even though Swapnil and I were directly co-coordinating with the bus driver and he knew that I was almost there. After the bus was missed, Swapnil Bhokre informed me that he has spoken to the bus driver and that I have to go to Jahangir Hospital. After conversations with both Swapnil Bhokre and the bus driver, I was informed that I have to be there with-in 30 minutes and reaching to Jahangir Hospital meant spending another 350 rupees from my pocket but I was ready for that too. But when I spoke to the auto-drivers, they said that the auto-fare would be 350 rupees but they won't be able to reach the place (Jahangir Hospital) with-in 30 minutes since the place is in the main city and traffic is high. I even made the auto-driver spoke to Swapnil Bhokre and later to the driver but the driver was very rude and told that he will not wait for more than 30 minutes and will move the bus if I don't reach on the specified time.

                              Now, I had already invested 70 rupees to reach Chinchwad at the time which was an hour early from the actual reporting time and even though the driver knew about my situation, he still moved the bus. So what was the guarantee that the driver will not move the bus again if I spent another 350 rupees and 45 minutes in traveling to Jahangir Hospital.

                              Although, Swapnil Bhokre helped me a lot and was constantly communicating with me and the driver, things didn't turned out in my favor and as expected the bus moved with-out picking me.

                              Interestingly, Redbus representatives told me that Diwakar travels are very bad and don't listen to Redbus. Then why the hell are they there on the Redbus website. It was clearly mentioned on the Redbus website and e-ticket that the reporting time for me at Chinchwad was 8:05 PM and boarding time was 8:20 PM. Now, if there was any change in time then Rebus and Diwakar Travels should have intimated about that early. It so happened that I called Diwakar travels bus-driver and was told that bus is actually leaving Pune at 7:00 PM otherwise there was no intimation by either Redbus or Diwakar Travels.

                              Now, was this some kind of joke. Because if it was then I had no laugh on it and I want my money back. Also, let me tell you that I am serious about this issue and will file a legal complaint on this for sure if nothing happens. And don't you guys overlook my statement. I will approach authorities for this mental harassment that was given to me by both Diwakar Travels and Redbus.

                              Reimburse my full money 1150 rupees and I am done with Redbus. I never had such a bad experience with Redbus earlier. I don't know and neither do I care about the equation Redbus shares with Diwakar Travels. All I know is that I wanted to go to Hyderabad from Pune so I went to Redbus website and booked the ticket. Now, if the bus left much early than the specified time, then that is not my problem. This should have been intimated to me before hand by Redbus and it was your responsibility to do so. Give me complete money back. Except the money, I spent 70 rupees in the auto which went in vain along with many calls to Redbus, Diwakar Travels and the bus driver.                                 As discussed with your executive, I desire to cancel the booking done from Pune to Bangalore & Bangalore to Pune. I had recieved call from the travels (Natraj-sharma) on 22nd and they confirmed that the bus from Pune to Bangalore on 26-3-11 is having some problem and is under maintenance for 15-20 days. After several request also they denied to give any confirmaation of the date. Due to this I had to cancel all my hotel reservation done in Bangalore and also postpone my trip. So I request to pl refund all my money back and also cancel the return ticket.
                                Pl find attached below the ticket details. Pl do the needful at the earliest.

                                I had mailed to redbus regarding my cancellation of tickets TD4D97283484, TD4D34355524 on 03/23/2011 19:30. Later on I recieved mail from Redbus on 03/26/2011 05:12 PM (The date on which the travel is scheduled) that the tickets are not cancelled. I feel that there was a clear communication from my side that I have to cancell the tickets and there should have been a reply back from redbus before the scheduled date of journey regarding their non accepetance. Also as the reason for cancellation is clearly mentioned in the trailing mail, I strongly feel that there is some problem in understanding of redbus and I immediately want my amount refunded to me with interest charges for the delay.

                                  I have booked ticket with RebBus from Ernakulam to Bangalore on May 8th.
                                  When the bus came in, bus operator told that the same seats were booked by somebody else and there are no seats available. The seats that I have booked had been booked by somebody else as a double booking.
                                  And I was not allowed to travel. I called up RedBus customer care and got a response that my seats were confirmed. But when I explained the situation, I was told that he will call me back and there was no action item on that. I returned back Bangalore and submitted a complaint in RedBus and sent emails to RedBus Support. There were no response or no action item on this complaint.

                                    I have booked the 3 tickets on 21st april through online but first time transaction failed but amount deducted from my account.Second time i get the tickets and again amount(2970) deducted from my account.I have send a mail to redbus support with screenshots of stmt.They given reply like with in 4 working days you will get back your amount to your a/c. but still no amount is credited to my a/c from redbus and they are stopped to give replies to my mails.

                                    I have booked one tickets on 07th May through online but first time transaction failed but amount deducted from my account.Second time i get the tickets and again amount(1000) deducted from my account.I was booking a ticket from Hyderabad to Mumbai at the same time the amount of Rs 1000 sad deducted and it was showing transuction failed and the moned was deducted from my account.
                                    for the second attempt i have got the ticket and again the same amount of Rs 1000 was deducted.Till date i have not received this amount to my debit card account.

                                      I tried to book ticket from Vijayawada to bangalore, i got message like , my amount has deducted from account and i didnt get my ticket for that, later i tried for another time, same thing happened.so, rupee 888/-has been deducted twice, but i didnt receive my ticket. I had been requesting these REDBUS customer care support people for last 16 days to revert back my amount, still it was not happened.Almost i spend rupees 150/- extra in making calls for the customer care people, but it was vein.

                                      So please help me inthis issue to get back my amount, and take necessay actions on REDBUS to get back customers deduct amount less than 3 days like how www.irctc.co.in is providing.

                                      Ticket not booked but money debited from account

                                      I booked ticket from redbus app from bangalore to hubli, money is debited from my account but at atlst it came can't book your ticket error it came.

                                      Didnt refund my money back

                                      It was on may19th that I booked my ticket for vellore to Bangalore and got my ticket canceled because of wrong date display in site and still I didn't get my refund back after 1 month
