[Resolved]  Redbus — refund not processed

I booked a ticket through red bus app on the 5th of may (7:19 pm), from mangalore to bangalore (Tm[protected] travel date 10th may). The amount paid through paytm wallet was rs727.50. I cancelled the ticket on the 8th of may and received confirmation of cancellation (See attached image) on the same day. When the refund was not processed in seven days i raised a complaint on the red bus app (See attached image), reference number 4024709. I was promised that the refund will be processed by 15th may. On 16th of may i received an email saying that the refund has been processed (See attached image) and that the refund will reflect in 7 business days (I. E. By 23rd may). When i didnot receive refund by 24th of may, i again initiated a complain (Reference number 4135616, see attached image). On 24th i again received an email (See attached image) that the refund was done on 16th of may itself and that i should contact paytm for the same. I contacted paytm and enquired but from there i was told that no payment has been issued from redbus, and that if it is done i should ask redbus for transaction id. When today (1st june) i am trying all the customer care numbers of redbus, i am constantly getting a wrong number dialled message.
This kind of behaviour and unprofessional conduct is highly objectionable. It's not about a refund of rs578, it is about plain fraud and cheating. I have wasted so much time in enquiring about this refund, will redbus compensate for the time that i have lost and the trauma that i have gone through.

If there is any legal process that needs to be initiated, someone please advise me.

Hi,
I booked ticket from chennai to madurai. The ticket amount was 935. The amount was deducted from my account but ticket not got booked. There is no proper response from the Redbus support. It's already been a month and I got no information about the refund amount.
