THIS IS A SCAM ALERT FOR ALL ONLINE SHOPPERS.....

It's unbelievable for all online shoppers that the delivered items in rediff was undelivered.

Here is my sad shopping story that i'm going to share with you all..

First of all i won't believe in any online shopping.

But after some guidance i came to know that rediff shopping seems to be best for shopping online

through cash on delivery and also they are giving their preferable payment option through demand draft

and also through cheque. I didn't owned a credit card and i thought that this will be a suitable method for

me to make online purchases. By believing so, i made 3 times shopping in rediff. The first one was cash

on delivery which was delivered with in a week and the second one payment was made through dd.,

which seems 2 weeks delayed. But even after that also i made the 3rd shopping in last december 2009 .

But the products are not delivered to me still now. Just guys u may know that i have lost Rs.5k with this

Shopping. I asked them through support team inorder to revert my order but all my voice fall on deaf ears.

They are not moved to my speeches. Even after sending lot of mails there is no such confidential replies

with that..

I ASK ALL ONLINE SHOPPERS TO BEWARE OF YOUR VALUABLE MONEY..

On 7th April 2010 I received a confirmation from rediff shopping by SMS from 57333 to the Mobile No.[protected] "Material has been dispatched through Aramex 1 Courier vide Awy bill no.[protected] on 07/04/2010".

The amount Rs.299/- was debited from my ICICI Bank Credit Card.

On 17th April 2010 I have sent a reminder to Rediff shopping requesting for the status of my order item by I have not received any feedback from then till date.

my email ID [protected]@rediffmail.com was hacked & password changed by some person with malfide intention. Now mails are being sent to contacts of my contact list demanding money from them. I am getting calls from all my well wisher telling me that they have received mail from my ID, I am helpless, I do not have control over my ID, I tried in vain to contact moderator of rediff.com through feedback & through support.rediff.com but did not get any response from them till now. I am worried with the passing of every minute but helpless as neither have any control over my ID nor have print out of contact list to aware them. I am surprised how rediff.com such a big sever do not any platform for register of complain of any nature. Pl. help me by blocking my ID immidiately & giving me back same ID with new password because my all known knows & contact me only on that ID.

My rediffmail account was blocked yesterday, as I had changed the password but upon logging in again, it started giving me the message no. of attempts to recover password expired. This email contains all my important data, so I would request you to kindly reset mt password & inform me on "[protected]@gmail.com", as I am awaiting a very urgent mail in a day or 2.

tracking status is showing approved yet didn't received my order. "aramex courrier is showing 'updating the shipment'. i think rediff shoping itself is a fraud site.

Rediff shopping utilizes a trick to entice customers to place an immediate order.
They give a popup called "Valid for immediate purchase" wherein the product cost is reduced a bit to entice customers to purchase rather than navigate away from that screen.

The problem is that the lower price doesn't always reflect while checking out and paying. I was given a lower price similarly, but when I paid through the online system, the amount charged was the original price.
I have attached a screenshot of the page where the popup occurs and want to warn potential customers to be very careful to verify the actual amount they are paying at Rediff. The worst part is that the customer service at Rediff doesnt seem to care since the sale has already occurred and even refuses to acknowledge that this promotional scheme exists on their website even after I gave them proof of the same!!!!
So advice customers to do their online shopping at other sites like Sify, Indiaplaza etc rather than on Rediff.

The seller 'Shop Mart' had advertised & also provided description of Indian make 'ION2' MP3 USB charger. However, I received cheap quality china make charger vide order # 5813284. While any MP3 player requires charger with 5 Volt output, Shop Mart had sent me 9 Volt charger which is not at all suitable for any MP3 player. I sent photograph of charger & screen shot of web page to seller as well as to Mr. Javed of Rediff, but both are responding to my mail. Rediff has mailed me cell no. of Shop Mart which is always found to be switched off. I finally wrote to Rediff that I would approach Customer Forum but they care least. Please help me in getting my money back.

dear sir, for the last 02 days i am unable to access my rediff email id it is showing wrong password
after trying the security questions several times and giving altenate email id also , the pwd is not coming to my alternate email id. message showing is Number of attempts for retrieving the password is exhausted

I have always struggled with Rediff Shopping.However this time when I saw Llyod DVD player wit fm at Rs. 1499, I got tempted to purchase it but to my surprise it came without a Cash Memo,the box was in a terrible shape,A screw was missing and warranty sticker (Which you need to break i[censored] open it) was already torn...It was clear cut a case of repaired product being delivered to me.

At last when I tried to play a DVD it didn't work then I tried few more VCD,MP3s and other cds but none of them worked!! Clearly the product was faulty...I cannot go even to Lloyd since I do not have the Cash Memo and they have stopped manufacturing the DVD players.

It was rediff's responsibility to ensure that only genuine sellers are allowed to sell on its site the same way as Ebay does it and it should not relase payment till the user is satisfied with it.

I Had purchased a Feng Shui Lucky Bamboo Plant 2 Layers from rediff shopping on[protected] and the amount debited from my credit card on[protected], I was informed by rediffmail that my item is despatched details as follows

But till to date i have not received the item even after approaching rediff customer care they have not given any correct details, the courier detail given by rediff shopping turned out to be invaild, indicating that i have been cheated by rediff shopping. Kindly help me.

I work in Muscat and my family is in Kerala. My wife's birthday was during January and during the first week, i placed order for a leather bag through Rediff shopping (vendor being GNET). I was put through anxious moments when they did not deliver the item inspite of the date passing through.Finally it was delivered 5 days later. After the item was delivered in my house in Kerala. From the description of the item given by my wife, i understood that it was not the item that i had ordered. I got back to Rediff through email. Inspite of several emails, when they did not respond, i wrote to the vendor directly and after 4 -5 mails, i got a reply stating that since the item ordered was not in stock, they sent another item, without even crosschecking with me. When i objected to this, the vendor cooly wrote back that i can send back the item and when they have stock they will replace. Sitting in Muscat, i cannot manage this, therefore when i wrote back requesting them for another option, they said that they will send a pearl necklace to compensate the difference of cost. This they promised to send, but after several correspondence, reminders, i finally got them to send it. they sent it on 5th feb but after several followups it was finally delivered on 15th feb in a miserable condition with all the pearls detached from the chain. It was a substandard pearl necklace- imitation. Never again will i ever buy any product from Rediff or GNET.

This has Ref to Order No.5771794 dtd[protected] booked through Rediff Shopping (Vendor : Shoppingmantra Enterprises ). The seller has given some FAKE consignment No of Aramex Courier and shown that the delivery was made on 3 Feb 10 whereas the product has not been received yet.

After checking the feedback given by other buyers about this seller it was found that thare are DOZONS of similar complains against this Seller and his modus operandi has been the same.

Complaint forwarded to Rediff Customer Care but they are also USELESS and have not done anything.

I HEREBY REQUEST ALL READERS THEY SHOULD NOT BUY ANYTHING THROUGH REDIFF SHOPPING AS THEY WILL END UP BEING CHEATED.

I have ordered for the massager as new year gift for someone.

Firstly they supplied very old and used product with missing parts. Though , aftre complaint, they bothered to take that back. But its been 15 days and we have not received any response from their side about the replacement. I ahve dropped them 3-4 mails but no one is bothering to even respond.

I want my money back along with the same i also want to claim for mental harrasement.

it was a new year gift andthey can not understand the kind of embrassement i have faced. It was never expected from a company like rediff.
