I have placed an online order on Rediffshopping on dt.14.5.09 for purchase of Canon Powershot A590IS Digital Camera 8.0MP vide my order no. 5373426 dt.14.5.09 when I made the payment through net banking there was some problem in payment processing so I made contact their customer care number[protected] on dt.15.5.09 and explain to their (rediffshopping) Customer care executive. He said that there was some problem in processing the payment, so he suggested me it’s better if you pay by Cheque or Credit card and we (rediffshopping) reissue new order number 5374184 dt.15.5.09 for same order so I choose second option payment thru’ Credit card and he transfer my telephone to credit card payment mode option I made the payment thru’ HSBC Card no.[protected] but when I made the payment, again third time my order has changed by computer system automatically now my order number 5374190 dt15.5.09 again I made contact customer care executive and explain to the same he said no problem sir we cancelled your earlier order and continue this order but before confirm this order we need some details regarding Credit card payment, which will sent you by mail, please fill all that & forward it to us (rediffshopping). I have not got any mail by 19.05.09 on my mail ID, so again on 19.05.09 I made contact to customer care and explain the same story again to rediff Customer care Executive, he suggested me to make the payment by cheque and courier our office :

He committed me that this time your order surely be execute but again forth time my order has changed, now order number of my required product was 5381726 dt.19.5.09, as per his commitment I have sent them Cheque number 786319 dt.20.05.09 after a long wait till 31.05.09 no communication made by rediffshopping regarding my cheque received or not. So on 1.6.09 again I made contact to rediffshopping customer care, I was shocked after update given by rediffshopping executive that there was no update in rediffshopping system regarding my cheque instead of my cheque has already been cleared from my bank account on dated 27.5.09, now their executive said me first I have to check our records and will get back to you but nobody respond me on my complaint at the end of the day so again on 2.6.09 I made contact to customer care with the unsolved problem but no update by their side & they are continuously saying the same statement again I made contact on 3.6.09 to customer care with same problem now they agree that they have received my cheque but still bank confirmation was pending now I made contact to their Support department, one of their Executive name Miss Subha Lakshami attend my call and she has made a new story, she is saying that sir we are sorry for delay & As the model which you required is unavailable with our vendor currently so we are offering you a new upgraded camera A480 as compensation on the same cost but I was disagree at that product and wanted the same camera A590IS 8MP with 4GB data card as compensation she said ok we will try and contact you shortly, till then I have wasted a lot of money to contact them but nobody respond me. As per Rediffshopping policy after received the payment they dispatch the material 7 to 10 working days but I have received the material on 10.6.09 after 14days, (4days late) after a lot of time contact with customer care and support department. The camera which I received by courier was without proper sealed packed, without invoice and without warranty card now again I have made contact to support department but nobody is attending my phone and mail, they have barred my mail ID now I want compensation of all my losses, time & money.

Please look into this & help me out to solve this problem.

Dear Sir,

On 05.01.2010 I had been taken a Broadband connection from YOU Telecom & from day one there is problem with the coneectivity, opening of any web page. So next day I complain to the customer care no. & lodge a complain(Complain no.[protected] but there was no action taken from there end. So, again I make a complain next two days days & on 07.01.2010 an executive came from YOU but spending almost one & half hour not able to fix the problem.

Till yesterday night I'm not able to open any web page or make any download so today(08.01.2010) I call the customer care & ask them to disconnect my connection & return my money but they said are not going to return my money(For connection I spend Rs.1600.00).

It is my request you to please advice me what to do.

Dear Sir,

On 27.12.2009 I had been buy a HCLlaptop(Model No. LAPTOP AXO3857) from Kohinoor Tele Video - Vashi shop. With this laptop there was an offer going on, which is winter offer & with the buy of this laptop the company offer a NOKIA phone worth Rs.6000.00.

So, when I buy the laptop, the shop owner provide me a promotional code & ask me to register at HCL website with this code & my laptop serial no.

After spending of so many times at internet I'm able to register myself with all details to the HCL website on 29.12.2009 i.e., before closing date(closing date of offer was 31.12.2009) of hte offer.

On very next day a mail send by the HCL team & conforming my registration & ask me to send all the details with scan copy of the Invoice to another email address & I do the same.

Again on 31.12.2009, they confirm by mail that once the promotional offer is over they send me the offer but when I'm send them so many mail & ask them how & when I'm able to receive my gift but their is no response from their end.

Please tell at this moment what will be my action, whether I'm going to lodge a legal action against the HCL company or just wait for another few days.

I am staying at Bhandup (W), Mumbai. 8 months back i have taken a new connection of Electric meter for my home from MSEB. Till date i have not received any bill from MSEB after continuous follow up & applications given to them for which i have application copies signed by the engineer but now MSEB sent me the notice through court regarding the payment.
Please tell me what shall i do.
Gorgegous club of India is cheated me had asked me to pay the money in icici bank account for the joining of club as the site that had the account number was not updated. Mr Karan, Deepak are the indiduals that are involved in the act.Anyone needs any information what exactly happened give your email address and i will let you see the sms and the conversation that I had with these guys. They are fraud and do never receive calls when you pay the money.
I am going to file a formal legal petition in the court for the same with the proof based this sms and the call records.
Also kindly let me know what is that i need to do to bring these guys to court and get the money back. I need your help pls tell me

please aap hame niya dilakar ya to hamara paisa vapas dila dijiye ya to machine change karke dilaye aur hamara jo 80000/- nuksan hau hai vo dilaye, aur shopkipper ki dadagiri ko lagam lagaye.

I know this is a single person who is sending me these dirty msgs.. he is using computor for sending sms so there wd be a associated IP ADRESS with each sms.
    I want know who is sending those sms. I would like to know their name, address, email ID and contact no. so that i can file a FIR against this person.

        SIR,
        Am surender from Hyderabad, who placed an order for premier organizer worth of Rs.600.00 on 20th of this month, after delivery queries they deliver me a product, at that time outside of my house, when i came back from my work and open the consignment it is an ordnary busienss organizer which may worth 300.00, after this i contacted consult person who is Mr. Gurupreet Singh and Rediff Customer Care, both are saying different stories, Mr. gurupreet is saying that i have to send this consignment to their address after receving this consignment they were send original placed order, and about rediff customer care people are saying that my original consignment is in transist but by mistakenly the vendor sended the consignment, they requested to mark a complaint regards this, after making mail to them, am received a acknowledgement from the rediffmail saying that after all calrifications and verifications they were sending the original consignment that to be after they have receive this consignment which i received,

        sir, please kindly help who to over come with this case

        I was very excited to buy any product through rediff shopping because I had listen many times about this site for customer delight services.
        But its very unfortunate to say in my case it didn’t make true, I received my product on time but couldn’t get the same which had been shown in image at the time of order.

        I tried many times to the company throug mail or telephone but got revert that i will get while it will be available in stock.
        But what does this site do regarding the complaints lodged with the site
        Dear Sir,

        I had purchase 8 GB spy pen camera, money has debited form my bank account but vender has send to me defected 4 GB spy pen camera .I have returned defected Item to vender as per rediff customer care guidance but so many days passed there is no response form rediff customer care.
        In another incidence I have paid money for swisto kettle but I received paasapahce kettle which is cheaper than that I have paid money. I have asked to refund difference of money extra paid by me but rediff customer care not able to give reply and money back till date.

        Kindly look in to trailing mail and do needful.

        As per order no 5653360 I should be delievered swistro electric kettle but I have received Paasapahce electric kettle model no ATH-7001 which is available at home shope 18 @ Rs 667.50 where as I have paid Rs 1349 .Pls refund defferance of money extra paid by me. I feel cheated by your vendor. In another incidence as per Order no 5603913 I have refunded defected and not as per order item and Rs 60 recived from rediff as a courier charge paid by me but vender is not responding and rediff customer care is also not giveng reply of my mail. I have lost faith on rediff shopping .If I am not getting any reply of this mail then I will think that being compled to take leagal action .

          but now i want to deactivate this plan because for every alert it's deducting 1rs.

                Dear All,
                I Navin have purchased an I pod online thru Rediff Shopping on 21-Feb-2009 and the product which I have received was damaged and when I have compalined the same to th Rediff Customer care I was informed to send the Item to the Vendor and I have done same on 27-Feb-2009 through Professional couriers.
                Till 20-Apr-2009 there was no information regarding the same and then they have informed me to send the scan copy of the Dispatch details and I have send the same on 25-Apr-2009.

                Is this way to treat the customer?

                  Dear Sir,

                  I am an employee of All India Radio, Patna and was on official tour to Kolkata and my mobile no.[protected] was in roaming. On dated-21.04.2009, I received two SMS and one SMS on 22.04.2009. These were sent by my friend from Patna through Rediff Bol(Free service) No.[protected]. Just after receiving the three messages, the concerned company had deducted Rs.300/=(Rs.100/- per SMS) from my balance of mobile.

                  As soon as this incidence has occured, I talked with the Customer Care of BSNL for redressal. The respective complain No. is 3611917, dated:-21/04/2009. The authority told that we are unable to solve your problem, since the Rediff Bol has deducted the referred amount.

                  Now, I m very distressed and want to quick redressal of mine.

                  Hence, it is requested to take immediate action in this regard under intimation to me, otherwise I will under the shelter of Consumer Forum.

                    Good Evening,

                    I placed an Order # 5038974 on Nov 27th 2008 at Rediff Shopping site for a PORTABLE DIVX/DVD/VCD/MP3/ PLAYER USB & SD CARD SLOT BUILT IN SPEAKER.

                    I paid Total: Rs.1769.00/- as it was COD.

                    When I opened the parcel it was really in a mess, (not properly packed). I tried to connect it as per the user guide but the wires and cables were missing. So I called the customer care and filed a complaint #[protected] on Tue, 01 Dec 2008
                    They replied to me on Fri, 05 Dec 2008 21:30:54 IST stating that they will arrange to pick up the product from my door step by (Ashok Varma.Customer Service Rediff.Com) No body came to pick up the item till date.(23 April 2009)

                    On 16 Dec 2008 21:27:18 IST there was a 4th and final reminder sent to them to do something about it

                    which they failed to do.

                    Inspite of informing them that I can seek help from Consumer court they are least bothered.

                    Today when I visited www.complaints.com and seached for Rediff's shopping complaints the list is endless.

                    After sending constant mails and phone calls they did not contact me for 40 + days or mail me they did change their Customer Care phone number also.

                    Suddenly on Mon, 16 Feb 2009 19:46:42 IST they woke up and they are refunding me the amount (Warm Regards, Nimesh D Customer Service, ) without the Interest rates.


                    I spoke to Parag (Ops Manager) who advised that he will get to the bottom of this case and find out the situation.

                    He informed me on call that his customer service failed to contact me (customer) or maile for more than 40 days.

                    Now they stated that they will send a cheque to me and a Rs. 1500/- voucher as a compenstation.

                    I denied it as I want to see them (Rediff) in Consumer court.

                    I am L.Devadass from coimbatore.I have purchased 1GB Mp4 player with inbuilt games ipod looks 3rdGeneration on02.02.10 from rediff shopping through the internet with my VISA Credit card with Rs.1175.00 and Order No.5775048.I have received this player in defective condition.So i complaint this to concern they said to return the product to merchant address as per mail instruction.I done the same on 01.03.10 with my own expense Rs.160. This product delivered to merchant by courier on 03.03.10. After i calling to rediff shopping customer they said system very slow and you will conduct after 1 hour. I have spent approx Rs.200 for STD phone expense to rediff shop usages. I have not received any response from there.

                    So please solve this problem as soon as possible and refund my money with my courier expense Rs.160 and call charge expense.

                      I had ordered for a 2-line speaker phone with good features on rediff shopping on 19th March 2009 and the order number was 5270064. However, when i received my product, I was shocked to see that it was an ordinary phone, a chinese product, with none of the features that were mentioned on their website.
                      I raised a complaint with customer care. However, I didnt receive any response from them for a week. Also, they do not publish their contact numbers. The only mode of reaching them is through mail.After a lot of struggle, i found out their mumbai nos and contacted them about my order. They promised to send a response by email, but, i didnt receive any. After repeated phone calls and emails, they asked me to send back the product to the vendor. However, they didnt resend the original product that i had ordered for.
                      After 100s of phone calls and emails, finally they refunded my amount only on april 22nd. It was a real harrassment that i underwent for having ordered a product from rediff. There have been plenty of complaints against rediff in various forums and they are known for cheating customers by their irresponsible behaviour.
                      I request the concerned authorities to take necessary action against them and ensure that the rights of customers are taken care of.

                      There has been an absolutely similar case with me, Only difference is i had bought a mp3/mp4 player.
                      I am very much disappointed with this approch and cheating of rediff.

                      Rediff shopping is a complete fraud, and my case is a burning example, i placed an order for 2 GB shuffle with order no. 5351286 and i paid Rs 710 as COD, After like a couple of weeks i receive my package and when i opened the shipment i was completely astronished to see that the package contains 1 GB shuffle instead of 2 GB with poor sound quality and a headphone which will make your ears to use a sound magnifier, and it never runs more than 5 mins, even the gadget is not looking like a new one, i bought it for my mom, as a mother's day gift and i was not able to gift that crap to my mom, its ruined my expectation and my emotions, I know they have cheated me, and there is nothing much i can do. i reported the incident atleast 10 times through there website and am yet to get a response from them.

                      It was a bad experience for me and i will never use any kind of online shopping portal, All are craps and cheaters and liers. They all are a corrupted business criminals..

                      Rediff.com — Cheated by sending me Scrap instead of the Product Ordered

                      I had ordered a Light & Fan Remote - Control through Rediff Online shopping bearing order no. 5806341. I recieved a courier which was filled with newspaper wastes and 2 plastic junk boxes placed inside a card board box. There was no Light & Fan Remote - Control in it. I have been cheated.                       I completely agreed with the above as I was also cheated by rediff shopping. I had ordered for a Firewire Cable 4 pin to 4 pin two months back on COD mode. But when I received the product I found that it was a simple USB Cable which is easily available everywhere. I launched the complaint immediately but no response till date. No other phone number was there to complaint. By this experience I suggest all the customers not to have shopping from this company as it is completely fraud.

                        I have purchased mobile at Rediff.com shopping and have found that the mobile has been shipped without batterry.I have called Many times the Shipper and spent atleast 30 to 100 INR. Shipper asked me to check with the courier and finally they have said that they are also checking the courier and came back saying that I need to contact Rediff and they will workout on the issue.

                        Today Rediff has asked me to send the product back and they will ship that back with the battery.

                          Product has received from DTDC Courier different from Order Detail: 5285382.

                          My Order No: 5285382 are approved on 29th Mar 2009 from Marwah Contact Person: Shiv Gaurav Item Description 2 GB MP4-MP3 Music Video Player + FM + LCD Screen + Speaker + Free Cool Watch.

                          But Rediff & Marwah as chit with me product not sent as per specification at time of booking.

                          Product Received by DTDC Courier wide air way bill no: H59274483. Which is booked on 07th April 2009. From Diamond Hyderabad & Rich to Bangalore on 08th April 2009. @ 14:40 Hrs.

                          Product Found in Cover (A) 1 GB MP3. (B) Head Phone (C) USB Cable & (D) AMERICA Time Stainless Steel Watch.

                          As per our record Received item total cost in market is Rs. 450. I Request to rediff to take action against my product no: 5285382 & Kindly give me advice where to send back this product & I don’t want any thing from rediff kindly refund my Amount of Rs. 1099/- along with courier charges to sent back item.

                            I had ordered a gift from Rediff.com (on 21/3/2009). It was supposed to be delivered on 15th April, 2009 ( it was a friends birthday and timely delivery was most important). However, I received an e-mail on 26 March, 2009 stating that the gift has been delivered. The tracking details also showed that the product was delivered (this forced me to ask my friend before the birthday if she had recived the gift and how did she like it). However, to my surprise the gift was not delivered. Then I had to call rediff.com and write an e-mail. They then replied saying that the gift will be delivered on 30th March, 2009. It wasn't delivered on the promised day again. Then I had to write them more e-mails to get my gift ( somethin that I had paid for ) delivered. Also the gift was delivered on Monday (6 Apr, 2009) and their e-mail says they cannot do anything for the hurt sentiments but they ASSURE ME OF PROMPT AND COURTEOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE...haha.I was atleast expecting them to send me a token of apology but I guess now I know where to NOT SHOP FROM.                             I had ordered a BDM cricket bat to be sent to Hyderabad. I had forgottern to note the order no . this is under the impression that the order no will be sent to my e-mail id. as other purchase have been sending the order details and confirmation on my mail. I did not recieve any mail,

                              I gad placed an order ( Order# 5276466) for following item at Rediff Shopping and made a payment of Rs.6565/-. They confirmed the order and informed that N.R. Shoppe will make delivery of the said product in 2-3 days.

                              After 5-days the vendor informed that the product is OUT OF STOCK and not replying to my emails and telephone calls in order to cancel my order and refund back the complete money in my credit card account.

                              IT IS REALLY TO SEE THAT THESE BIG INTERNET SHOPPING WEBSITE DO CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD EVEN IF THE PRODUCT IS NOT AVAILABLE IN THEIR STOCK.

                              NOW I AM STUCK UP AND DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO CONTACT TO GET MY MONEY BACK. MY BANKER IS ALSO CHARGING INTEREST ON MY CREDIT CARD.

                              yes its true. they dont give any contact no. ITS 100% CHEATING WEBSITE.
                              i ordered for mobile with features 3G, wi-fi, 8MP cam, 8GB internal memory, Flash, etc...
                              but they sent one China mobile with No 3G, No wifi, No flash, VGA cam, 1 MB memory... a worst mobile i have ever seen.

                              PLEASE DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM REDIFF.

                              SAVE UR MONEY AND TIME.

                                Rediff Order number : 5239200
                                Order was for Sauna Ab Slimmer Slim Fit Belt Buy 1 Get 1 Free
                                When delivery was made.. courier was in sealed state.. but only 1 Sauna Ab Slimmer Slim Fit Belt was delivered. As per offer of buy one get one.. there should had been two.

                                Had been continously following up with rediff but no response from them.

                                Email chain subject line is Rediff=[protected]' Shopping even on which i have been asking for updates but no use.

                                It will be great if someone could help, else i think i have been cheated.

                                  3.0 That on 27th Jan 2009 Complainant have been placed an order of English Learner Laptop For Kids With Mouse Control from O.P. no 2 (Rediff.com) order number 5156704 .( Photocopy of the said document is furnished)
                                  3.1 That on 31st Jan 2009 Complainant 1 have got an email from O.P No 2 i.e. Your order no. 5156704 is approved The vendor has processed the order for dispatch & the courier details will be sent to you by email.( Photocopy of the said document is furnished)
                                  3.2 That on 4th Feb 2009 O.P. No 1 had been delivered English Learner Laptop For Kids With Mouse Control by TNT courier, courier no[protected] at complainant home address .The price of English learner laptop was Rs 499 and shipping and handling charges was Rs 70.( Photocopy of the said document is furnished)
                                  3.3 That the English Learner Laptop for Kids with Mouse Control was defective and it was not working.
                                  Yes I am agree, very poor service and no response from rediff once they delivered the product.

                                    I am using Rediff bol for a year now. But to be precise from the past few months I am experiencing lots of inconveniences with the Rediff Bol software. I have never had such issues before. Sometimes Rediff Bol doesnt allow me to log in. It gives an error message. But whats more frustrating is even when I successfully log in, I cannot access the list of chatrooms. When I open the chat window, it says "fetching chatrooms list ..." and it remains stuck there and the list never appears. What annoys me is that this issue is occuring very frequently these days. And the issue stays un-resolved for quite a period of time. I dont expect this kind of maintenence from Rediff. Is it very difficult to notice an issue that has come up in the Rediff complaints section a hundred times and thats occuring so frequently? I am curious to know why Rediff doesnt have a permanent fix to this issue. How come this happens again and again. I myself have not been able to access the chatrooms for over a week now. I shall remain grateful if this issue is resolved permanently.
