I was very excited to buy any product through rediff shopping because I had listen many times about this site for customer delight services.
But its very unfortunate to say in my case it didn’t make true, I received my product on time but couldn’t get the same which had been shown in image at the time of order.

I tried many times to the company throug mail or telephone but got revert that i will get while it will be available in stock.

But what does this site do regarding the complaints lodged with the site

I had purchase 8 GB spy pen camera, money has debited form my bank account but vender has send to me defected 4 GB spy pen camera .I have returned defected Item to vender as per rediff customer care guidance but so many days passed there is no response form rediff customer care.
In another incidence I have paid money for swisto kettle but I received paasapahce kettle which is cheaper than that I have paid money. I have asked to refund difference of money extra paid by me but rediff customer care not able to give reply and money back till date.

Kindly look in to trailing mail and do needful.

As per order no 5653360 I should be delievered swistro electric kettle but I have received Paasapahce electric kettle model no ATH-7001 which is available at home shope 18 @ Rs 667.50 where as I have paid Rs 1349 .Pls refund defferance of money extra paid by me. I feel cheated by your vendor. In another incidence as per Order no 5603913 I have refunded defected and not as per order item and Rs 60 recived from rediff as a courier charge paid by me but vender is not responding and rediff customer care is also not giveng reply of my mail. I have lost faith on rediff shopping .If I am not getting any reply of this mail then I will think that being compled to take leagal action .

I am L.Devadass from coimbatore.I have purchased 1GB Mp4 player with inbuilt games ipod looks 3rdGeneration on02.02.10 from rediff shopping through the internet with my VISA Credit card with Rs.1175.00 and Order No.5775048.I have received this player in defective condition.So i complaint this to concern they said to return the product to merchant address as per mail instruction.I done the same on 01.03.10 with my own expense Rs.160. This product delivered to merchant by courier on 03.03.10. After i calling to rediff shopping customer they said system very slow and you will conduct after 1 hour. I have spent approx Rs.200 for STD phone expense to rediff shop usages. I have not received any response from there.

So please solve this problem as soon as possible and refund my money with my courier expense Rs.160 and call charge expense.

I am Sandeep from Moula-ali, Hyderabad, Please refrain from using online shopping portal like REDIFF SHOPPING.
Rediff shopping is a complete fraud, and my case is a burning example, i placed an order for 2 GB shuffle with order no. 5351286 and i paid Rs 710 as COD, After like a couple of weeks i receive my package and when i opened the shipment i was completely astronished to see that the package contains 1 GB shuffle instead of 2 GB with poor sound quality and a headphone which will make your ears to use a sound magnifier, and it never runs more than 5 mins, even the gadget is not looking like a new one, i bought it for my mom, as a mother's day gift and i was not able to gift that crap to my mom, its ruined my expectation and my emotions, I know they have cheated me, and there is nothing much i can do. i reported the incident atleast 10 times through there website and am yet to get a response from them.

It was a bad experience for me and i will never use any kind of online shopping portal, All are craps and cheaters and liers. They all are a corrupted business criminals..

Rediff.com — Cheated by sending me Scrap instead of the Product Ordered

I had ordered a Light & Fan Remote - Control through Rediff Online shopping bearing order no. 5806341. I recieved a courier which was filled with newspaper wastes and 2 plastic junk boxes placed inside a card board box. There was no Light & Fan Remote - Control in it. I have been cheated. I paid 260 rupees for a bubble gun, when delivered I got a damaged piece and also a different cheaper bubble gun which is worth Rs. 60/-

I completely agreed with the above as I was also cheated by rediff shopping. I had ordered for a Firewire Cable 4 pin to 4 pin two months back on COD mode. But when I received the product I found that it was a simple USB Cable which is easily available everywhere. I launched the complaint immediately but no response till date. No other phone number was there to complaint. By this experience I suggest all the customers not to have shopping from this company as it is completely fraud.

Yes, friend you are absolutely right, today, I ordered a wrong product the order no. is "5248175" but to my horror I could'nt find any 'email address where I can send the cancellation request, and I will have to accept a product which did not need.

But I'l tell you my experience, in Kolkata, most of the shop keepers and business houses operate like 'rediff shopping, with the sole motif of cheating customers, it started in 1970 s and see today, where Kolkata is and where Mumbai. I live in Mumbai for the last 20 years, and can tell that 'honesty is the best policy', today onwards I'l never buy any rediff shopping product, and like this others will also come to know by word of mouth, and I swear rediff shopping will not be in the business for any loner.

Vide order no 5041145 I had ordered one Brand New Picoozer master 360 degree turn - Smallest Radio Control Helicopter and to my horror the stupid thing didn't fly over 3 feet whereas they claimed 30 feet and what not. And guess what the helicopter stopped working after 4 days inpite of replacing it with fully charged re-chargable batteries. I had the same problem like Saurav Bhattacharya and couldn't find any telephone number or Customer care number where I could sendmy complaint. The customer care webpage doesn't open so it shows that its a very shady business being carried out by a set of hoodlums. Can someone please help me with the contact nos or address etc so that I could throw the defective helicopter on the proprieter of the rediff shopping.

The consumer care forum has'nt been able to close down such 'CHORS' like rediff shopping. Its a wonder, they have not yet let the customre know what their "customer care" e-mail address is. Consumer forum and its active members should take this fellow to 'court', FOR CHEATING CUSTOMERS.

There service is so poor. I ordered a laptop and they delivered me some swiss knife and some bit set.
When i asked the person responsible, he asked me to courier it back to them.
My question is why should i be paying for courier charges, its them who made mistake and not me.
No body has returned after that mail. I even tried with rediff no one has returned from their customer care even.
Its so frustrating.

I fully agree with what has been said.I strongly advise people not to shop on REDIFFSHOPPING.There is nothing called customer service there.Nobody to listen to you, no numbers to call.I have oreder two books[order no.5610850]with a promise of delivering them in 7-10 working days but 15 days passed by and no information is availble.I have sent them two mails so far but no reply."BEWARE OF REDIFFSHOPPING"

Rediff Customer Support Policy - buy and get lost?
Has anyone tried to contact Rediff.com customer support? Then you will understand what I mean. It is perfect example of a disaster.
- No telephone Numbers - No matter how important your issue is.
- No Chat support
- Not even an “email id” mentioned anywhere
- No Form
I send an email yesterday for a serious and urgent problem in with regards to a Domain Hosting. The reply I get has nothing to do with what I asked This is their reply to an Urgent Issue. It is so humorous that I am compelled to share the content.
“Our customer support representative will attend to your mail and will revert within 2 working days and guess what it is already 3 days and no reponse...
A consolidated effort must be made to stop them from looting people

Hello guys, the seller named OJJAS ENTERPRISES AMAZON ON REDIFF.COM is a complete fake one and i was amazed to see the lack of interest from rediff.com to solve this problem. The product that was shipped to me was incomplete and a completely fake one. This seller is a big big big conman and he has already looted thousands of customer. And what is astonishing to see that Rediff.com doesn't have any HELPLINE NO. listed on their website for shopping. But i somehow i managed to get the phone number which is[protected] and tell them to connect to the shopping department. GUYS DON'T LEAVE REDIFF.COM JUST LIKE THAT. BLAST THEM BY CALLING ON THIS NUMBER AND AFTER CALLING NUMBER OF TIMES I HAVE GOT MY MONEY BACK FOR THE SAID DEFECTIVE PRODUCT SO YOU CAN ALSO GET YOURS BACK AND REMEMBER NOT TO SHOP ON REDIFF.COM FOREVER.
