rediffbol not connect
when i m try to sign in after few seconds this message displys:

"rediffbol was not able to establish a connection to the serer.
if you needs your input to setup connections options and may need support from your system administrator."


i think that i m using the Airtel GPRS because Me and some of my friends(who use Airtel GPRS) are too facing the same problem from somedays.My friend who is using Reliance SMART GPRS does not have such problem.

one year before i have rediffbol messengerand i was regularly login, past one year i am not used the messenger. now i have installed the latest rediffbol messenger but i could not login. my user id is rathinavelu.s
im entering right id and password...but it is not connecting...not giving and opens my id page
I am a cyber owner and I m paying my business for a long time B'coz there is a stupid message appears when somebody log in to rediffbol

"rediffbol was not able to establish a connection to the serer.
if you needs your input to setup connections options and may need support from your system administrator."

What should I do.
i cant open my chat rooms please send steps how do open?

    I am using rediffbol for chatting in my mobile nokia 6233.
    since four days i am facing a problem.
    whenever i am logging in, it is aways shsowing me that i have logged in but i am not able to see my online chatmate nither my sms friends.and whenever i click for any option like refresh, or buddy list, or add buddy, it simply log out stating that i am already looged in other device. many times i tried with logging out and than sign in but still the same problem persist.
    i cant understand why its happening. please help me

      rediffmail account not opening

      Only my rediffmail account is not opening. It's showing "page cannot be displayed" - cannot find server.
      Other 2 rediffmail accounts are opening without any problem....

      Even i am recieving the same vulgar messages from the number 57333. But i have clue that the id which is displaying is..."ms.chnu123" .

      Please let me know how to trace this id in Rediff.com.

      Can any one knows how to trace this please post this in the blog.

        Thanks for the response Pooja.

        As you go through the order, it was placed on 13-May with a delivery date of 24-May which gives almost 11 days of advanced notice.( Am sure the stocks should not have gone exhausted overnight ) and myself or my mail id should have been intimated in well advanced instead of me doing followups once it has gone beyond the delivery date.

        This order was supposed to be gift for someone to be reached on a specfic day, if intimated earlier could have made some alternative arrangements and which has ruined the entire surprise.

        The purpose if booking it through the site was for timely delivery when I am not back @ home, which actually doesnt serve the purpose of delivery center of your site and gives more dissatisfaction.

          i have ordered a digi cam in rediff shopping on 09/05/2008. the order number is 4590598. the product, according to rediff shopping web site was handed over to Aramex courier to deliver to me. the product was so far not delivered to me. to my shocking, in the rediff shopping and aramex web sites, it has been mentioned that the product has been delivered to me on 21/05/2008. when i contacted the Aramex, they replied the product is with some other partner courier and it will be delivered soon. when i asked why the wrong information has been given in their web site, they said that it was a mistake. still till date the product has not been delivered. is there any cheating in the process? pl help.

          This is to bring to all your notice that never buy any items from REDIFF SHOPPING, they just take away your money and never deliver the products. I have ordered a Ladies Jewel Watch and my order no is 4959548. They emailed me that the product would be delivered within 9 days but till date i have not received it.           I have been cheated by Rediff Shopping...like most of you. This is not done. We should all lodge a complaint against it in the consumer court.

          On 28th April '2012 I Ordered for an Solar Powered Copper Toned LED watch and my order no. was 7078433 and it was immediately approved because I made online payment from bank for an amount of Rs.459=00(Rs. 399 cost of the product + Shipping and handling Rs. 60) the amount was debited from my account.             Wrong MObile (A950) Delivered & EZIO A8+ Billed To My Credit Card.

            There are regulations protecting consumers from false advertising. As customers, we put a large amount of trust into mail order companies. We send money to complete strangers in hopes of making the beautiful picture in the catalog a reality. That trust is very hard to establish and, as Rediff shopping / India mart has shown, very easy to break.

            In May 2008 1st week I have ordered EZIO A8+ (Order No. : 4604834 ) for a total price of Rs 6750 including shipping and handling charges that were charged from Rediff shopping / India mart . Being described as “New A8+ 1.3 MP Cam, Mp3 Player, Bluetooth PDA Handset with vendor warranty", I anxiously awaited the product's arrival. I got the delivery in June 2008 1st week and Once I opened the package, though, my excitement quickly faded. The A950 which I received was very different than the EZIO A8+ which Rediff shopping / India mart advertised.

            Let me assure you all that Rediff shopping / India mart is extremely irresponsible in this area and for their neglegance Proper Consumer Care Authorities will be contacted unless I am satisfied with their handling of my situation.

            Dont buy any product from Rediff shopping / India mart untill and unless you are suree enough of the delivery. Boycott Rediff Shopping / India Mart Shopping
            IND MART people care complete cheats..dont know why rediff supports such vendors
            Same problem with us, we have ordered Nova toaster griller but we received Euroline sandwitch maker and is very less cost than the ordered product

              I purchased a Blackberry 8300 (order # 4512291) from Rediff website through MNV collections. The actual trader's name was Classic Enterprise from Pydhonie, Masjid.
              The product that i received was crap. While talking to the dealer i realized he had bought mobiles from UK (O2 logo on phone) and IMEI number on phone did not match withthat on box. Examining the phone, i realized lots of scratches at the back. I visited the sender classic enterprise and found out there was no mobile shop(he said he didnt have stock). it was a small gala on 2nd floor with computers and people but no mobiles.
              i demanded for refund from rediff in mail and support number but they send me a replacement which is again a crap(used piece).i ham chasing with rediff almost each day but geting same replies that i cannot be refunded.
              Can you help me in getting refund as i have paid a hefty amount for this.

              I have bought a jacket through rediff and while making the payment the wesite got stuck so i tried one more time then it went through but actully bank (HDFC) made 2 transactions. i logged complaint 3 times but there is no response from rediff team.

              Its been a long time and they are not responding to my queries.

              I fully endorse the complainant.MNV Collections is a big fraud. I had bought a mobile phone through MNV with 1 yr "Vendor Warranty".
              When this set was sent for repair, the seller conveniently kept the set and is not sending it back to me. I have made innumerable calls to him, but he refuses to answer to calls.
              He sells items from Grey Market and charges hell lots of money. On the top of it if there is a problem and the item is sent back for repair, he forgets to send it back and treats the item as his own.
              Buyers pls be careful with this seller. He is one big fraud!!!

              rediff shopping was cheater, they are cheating people who make online shopping, they are selling all defactive product & in 48 hrs if we returen to vendor, vendor not response & neither get refund or any returen answer of your complaint. so my advice to people dont buy product

              I have bought two phones from rediff in the past 4-5 years and coincidentally both of them were from MNV Collections. And my experience was quite contrary to whatever the above mentioned cases were. In the first case, I bought an used handset and yes it did have some scratches on it, but that is to be expected. Later, after a month when the phone stopped working, I got in touch with MNV Collections and they repaired it for me. I think that is a lot better customer service than what one gets from the shops in Heera Panna or Masjid Bandar in Mumbai.

              The second time I bought a phone, it was delivered exactly the date I had specified and the phone is still working fine. I recommend rediff and MNV Collections based on my experience.

                Have ordered a Vacum Cleaner through Rediff shopping on 30th March 2008. Order ref No 4501213. The item was delivered to me on 10th April 2008 through ARAMEX Couriers against AWB[protected]. After opening the consignment found two of the accessories in damage condition so immediately informed Rediff shopping about the damage through [protected]@rediff.co.in First I got reply from them that I should return the entire consignment to their Vendors Seema Gifts at Malad on given address and the courier chages will be refunded in the form of gift coupons. I sent another mail to them that as per their terms and conditions Rediff Shopping is suppose to collect the damaged consignment from the customer and will replace the items within 8 –10 days. And accordingly the entire consignment was collected by them through ARAMEX Couriers on 08/04/2008 vide their AWB No: [protected]. Later sent two reminders to [protected]@rediff.co.in to expedite the replacement of my items and now they have informed me on 20th April 2008 that their Vendors do not have this item and as per their policy will refund my money in the form of Gift vouchers.                   I ordered a pair of Adjustable Kada Bangles for Rs.399 on 21st Feb 2008 (order no: 4419182). The bangles were too small and were not adjustable. So i called them up immediately and placed a complaint and requested for replacement. After much delay and a series of phone calls, the product was picked up from my place by ARAMEX on 12th march and delivered to Rediff on 14th March.

                  But till date I have NOT got any replacement. The game goes on like this: I call their customer care, they apologize and "request" me to mail [protected]@rediff.co.in, and then I have to wait for the reply which only says "we regret for the inconvenience. your replacement product will be sent in 7 to 10 working days" and then nothing turns up and then again I call up and then again they apologize and "request" me to mail [protected]@rediff.co.in AND ON AND ON AND ON.

                  This has been happening for the last 2 months. Can some action be taken against them?

                  On 19th Feb 2009 ordered Night Vision CCTV Camera cum Spy Camera with Warranty(rs 1999 + 75 shipping cost) and the order number is 5212140 and received the parcel on 23rd feb 2009..

                  What I received was a Cheap Wireless Unbranded Camera, 2 power suppy adapters, 1 receiver with Antenna. Looks like it is a used one or areturned one and also there is also no manual in it and cable . Have taken pictures before opening the package and after opening package with all items in it. Yesterday called couple of time and no response from Naresh. I called another number provided by you and someone picked and the call and talked. He was mentioning that the one they sent to me was higher price one and I told him what it was and that is not what I wanted. He mentioned to talk to Naresh.                       Sir,

                      This is to inform you that I have ordered a formal watch from rediff online shopping. They send the watch after procuring it from Mayank Gulati and I felt completely cheated after getting the watch. The item was cash on delivery which they had sent via TNT courier. The consignment number is[protected]. My order number for rediff online shopping is 4651709. After specifying them very clearly that I want a formal watch they send me a chrono watch and the design and style is completely different. The watch looks very cheap and looks more like a kids watch. Moreover the watch is broken in several parts. The 11th, 12th and 1st mark is completely broken so the fifth interval could not be identified clearly. Thus you have to guess if it is exactly half between 10 o' clock and 2 o' clock then it is 12 and similarly for 11 o' clock and 1 o' clock. Moreover the strap has more scratches on it than a road side watch. The metal strip is broken in many places. It was promised that the original cost of the watch is Rs. 2, 499 and they are offering at a discount so the price for rediff shopping is Rs. 299, which including all other charges tantamount to Rs.354. The quality is so cheap that is doesn't look like Rs.100 watch and wearing such a watch I feel very dejected. I demand to return my money from rediff and would request you to take actions against rediff for cheating people like this. As a proof I am sending you the original pictures of the watch which was promised to me. I am also sending you the pictures of the watch that they have send me. I have taken a couple of the pictures they have send me and I am marking the parts specifically where there is fault. I would request you to help me so that Mayank Gulati and Rediff don't cheat customers like this. I have called Mayank Gulati but they refused to pay any heed to my request and they told me to do whatever I can they don't bother anyone.

                        I ordered a book on rediff vide order no 4487526 on 24th March 2008.

                        The page says the book ships within 7 days. However, when contacted on 2nd April 2008, they are saying that it will take more than 45 days.

                        I have written to them requesting to dispatch the book immediately or compensate me with double the order amount but there is no response from them so far.

                        The funny thing is their website still says ships within 7 days. You can click the above link and see. They dont have an idea when their prodcuts will be shipped and written 7 days as the default time for all the products.
                        I had ordered aparels from rediffshopping and they have provided the assignment number for this on 11/06/2008, when i contacted the aramex they have no idea abt the assignment and saying that this is feck one.

                        Written mails to their customer complaint mail box but no reply found. This was the first and last time i have ordered from redifshopping. Please do not order from there this is rubbish.

                          I purchase an ELECTRIC RIDEON KIDS CAR by order no 4458983. Which was delivered me on 16.03.2008. After unpacking I found that I doesn't have THE DRIVER SEAT. I immidiately booked a complaint in the format available on their website and called the the customer care. Since then I am regularly mailing my grevience by mail and calling them regularly. Every time I call they just give the assurance that problem will be solved soon. Even their customer care personnel dosnt mean what they assure.
                          When i track my order for latest dovelopments by "track my order" method, it shows that product delivered to courier on the date of visit to website. I dont know how can it happen.They cant handover a product everyday to courier.
                          I am really fed up and the only way left to me is to approach the consumer court.
                          By this complaint I mean to convey rediff that they should solve my problem within next 7 working days or otherwise will approach consumer court (under provisions of IT ACT, 2000) and all responsibility should lie upon rediff and its concerned vendor.

                            I wanted to gift some books to my wife on the Valentine's day, so ordered 3 books (Cheaper by the Dozen, Never Cry Wolf, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn) using Rediff online shopping.                               I have received mail about rediff online shopping add and i searched for a product which I wanted to buy. The product is available for auction and the min. price indicated and I gave my option for bidding. Next day I got the mail stating that I won the product and make payment. I looked for details of payment and wish to pay by DD and I got the details the address on which the dd has to be taken and infavour of whom the dd has to be taken. On the over leaf i was advised to make a note of my order no and I tried to locate the same which is not given by rediff.com in the mail where they have communicated that I won the product and to make payment.
                              In this regard i gave mails to rediff.com, and I spoke to customer care attendant and they could not provide me the order no/reference no.
                              Surprisingly your software is able to detect that I have not made any payment, but it could not detect the request I made for giving the ref.no of the prouct bid no. None of you are able to help me in this regard.
                              I would like to know the basic system you have designed for getting the product which was won through bidding.
                              P. arrange to make necessary changes in the soft ware and make it user friendly.
                              Secondly I tried to make payment through my VISA debit card. The software did not accept the same. I would like to make payment by SBI internet banking services. Your list does not have SBI/ Then It is the time to make changes to your software.

                              Sorry for not taking the delivery because of rediff.com could not provide me order/ref.no and mode of payment systems are not easy as only credit card is allowed.

I have raised several complaints in their customer care centre, asked for refund several times but every time they say that we will despatch the product in next 2 days.

                              I had ordered a Nokia 1108 from Rediff.com the vendor from Ojas Enterprise, Mumbai had send a different model of mobile set which I came to know only after making the payment to courier company. I had a sent a mail to rediffshopping but dosn't reply & does not answer the phone. And rediff shopping is not doing anything except for inspiring such a forgery. Rediff being such a big corporate should not indulge in such sick activities and should have a close look on the vendors they are dealing with.

After making several telephone calls to M/S TNT (Phone No.[protected]/66/67) on 13/11/2008, 16/11/2008 and 18/11/2008 and to Rediff purchase[protected] with several extension numbers for long time periods on STD, it was informed to me by Mr. Sunil of TNT of Hyderabad initially the TNT courier persons have come to deliver the item but no one is there at ARCI to collect the item. On the second occasion he told that a courier person who was bringing my packet met with an accident and the item has been broken in to pieces and would replace the item with in 2 days. This went on for a few days. On 20/11/2008 Mr. Javeed of TNT India Pvt. Ltd., came to our office, ARCI (an Autonomous Research & Development organization of Department of Science and Technology), Government of India, and gave me a sealed TNT cover stating that the ordered item is present in it. Fortunately I have opened the TNT cover in the presence of Mr. Javeed and to our surprise it contains only one free gift analog watch (not digital watch as mentioned in the order) and nothing else. I totally refused the item and told him to take back the analog watch with all the packing material as the ordered item is not present in the packet. He also agreed that the ordered item is not present in the pack and signed on a hand written note that the ordered item is not present. I also gave him the Rediff Purchase order copy received to my email id from Rediff shopping soon after booked for the item. Soon after Mr. Javeed left my room in office, Mr. Sunil called me on phone and told me “why you have not mentioned the item as MP3 player, we thought it was only a watch?” Again at 6.15PM I received a call from [protected] from Mr. Sunil asking me to take another piece of the MP3 player which he is going to send me and pleaded with me to not to lodge any complaint.

                              This clearly shows a clear case of theft occurred at some place in between shipping place and delivery place of the ordered item.
                              Now I decided that total amount to be returned back to me and am no longer interested in the ordered item as I am sure that I will never get the good quality item.
                              The total time lost during the entire episode is more than a month and my amount of Rs. 1799.00 has been locked up with Rediff shopping and I definitely deserve interest on the locked money and compensation for mental tension and agony for delay of delivery of the item for more than a month. You are therefore requested to take immediate action in this matter and refund the total amount along with interest for delayed period.
                              If necessary amount has not been returned back to my ICICI bank account by with in 24 hours, I would have to take serious action including police complaint on a cheating case.

When I contact courier service, they say they have sent back the consignment to the office where it came from. I asked them which office, they did not say anything.

                                    he met on chat and told me that they provide dating services in india.
                                    they told me to pay 1200 for registeration.
                                    After registering they said they will send me a file with many profiles.
                                    i was told to deposit the money in icici acnt no
                                    in the name of MS Shera.
                                    after i deposited the amount they said i need to pay 5000 more to get the file.
                                    when i said i was given wrong info they said ok then deposit 1500 for 2 months of service.
                                    i did that and now they even sent me a file but it was password protected.
                                    again i called them and now they demanded more money.
                                    total fake this buggers are cheating people big time.
                                    i would like to know how i can launch a complaint so that in future more innocent people dont get stuck in this.
