Rediff shopping has extremely bad return policy, please beware before buying anything from Rediff shopping. I had bought a pair of shoes which was not as per size written (size 8, but actually size 6 and so narrow that you cannot put your foot inside. I asked for refund, but there was no response from them for two days. Then when I called them up, they told me to courier it to the vendor (shoe manufacturer) i.e. they did not take any responsibility of picking up the product. The below are excerpts of the mail they sent me.
"We request you to kindly send the item back to our seller within 5 to 6 working days mentioning the order number on the packet.
- Items are to be returned with all accessories and original packaging.
- Careful attention is to be given with the packing of the product to avoid damage during transit."
"**If the courier charge exceeds Rs 250 the same shall not be reimbursed hence we would request you to intimate us before you send across the product**"
Nowhere is it mentioned in the returns policy that customer has to take the responsibility of sending back the product, and then wait for refund.Also, if the courier charge is more than Rs. 250, they would not reimburse you.
My order ID is 13760510, and I expect to hear back from rediff shopping soon.
