Rediff.com India — Unethical practices at rediff.in
Order number: 12882520 placed on feb 29, 2016 Refund promised on: may 9, 2016 Action required - refund cheque from rediff.com We ordered 2 roll-on medicines for infants from this website. The orders were scheduled to be 'pay on delivery'. When the package arrived, it was broken and the medicine had leaked all over. We told the courier service that the product is unacceptable and the person said he still had to be paid because he was a third party, so we paid even though we sent the product back! Upon calling rediff customer service, they promised to refund our amount via check on 9th may, 2016, but no action has been taken. This is a thriving example of how online merchants in india deceive customers. There was no display of courtesy and our case moved from one customer service representative to another from march 01, 2016 to may 09, 2016. Even after accepting that it was their fault, they have not refunded the amount. Was this information helpful?
