This refers to the classified ad booking 1378278, which wrongly appeared under 'general - no caste bar' (Matrimonial - wanted bride) category on the sunday times of 11th march, 2018, instead of the 'language - bengali' category. I have already written about this earlier and also uploaded a complaint with ticket no. 149769.

However, there has been no satisfactory resolution of this matter till now, which is why i am filing my complaint here, because as far as i am concerned my money is wasted since i am not retting any responses from bengali families.

In response to my complaint, the customer care intimated to me that the editorial office had called me on telephone, and that i had given permission for this alteration on telephone.

I would like to point out first of all that it is highly unprofessional to finalise important details through a telephone conversation, which, as everyone knows can be highly unreliable.in case this has to be done, it is the practice to repeat the changes being made several times and ensure that the customer understands the changes being made.in my case, i was issued no such warning.

Also, i distinctly remember the person at the other end mentioning about putting the ad under 'no caste bar'. At that time i simply assumed that it was a further sub-classification under 'the 'bengali language' classification that i had explicitly requested for at the time of booking.

I could not imagine that my written request (Regarding ad placement) was being altered on telephone and i also distinctly remember that the person at the other end did not warn me that the category was being shifted from the language to the general category.

In fact, i also distinctly remember that the person at the other end asked me whether the ad was for a boy or a girl, to which i had to tell him that i had requested that the ad be placed in the 'wanted bride' category and that he should check my booking. This clearly shows that the editorial office simply called me without going through the full details of the ad. This person not only did not know the details, he also assumed that the ad was to be placed under the general - no caste bar section.

Finally, i would like to know as to why this change of ad placement category, supposedly authorised by me on telephone, was not intimated to me as was done for the subject matter. I feel that correct placement of an ad is just as important as the subject matter.

In view the above, i feel matters should be rectified by placing the same ad under the 'language - bengali' category in next sunday's toi matrimonial section (Free of cost).

I placed a request to submit advertisement in the newspapers and made the payment as they requested. As they agreed and promised today i verified if the advertisement is published and none of the newspapers that advertisement was published. My booking id is 1375430
This is the same experience i faced one year ago. When i verified it was not published and i chased them to refund my money and they did not do. This time also the same thing has happened. I am using them because i dont have a choice and these persons are cheating customers.
This is not good for any business and i request users to be very careful in using this service.

Release my ad highly unprofessional - edit the ad on their own and not informed - ad id:1353443

I had booked the above ad for ht on 23 dec 2017 under the category :matrimonial wanted grooms by religion sikh. The above ad has under the category matrimonial wanted grooms khatri.in this regard i inform that i had booked under the category religion - sikh. After filling first three boxes which were drop down, in fourth box it was mentioned ány preference'.in that i mentioned khatri/arora. Thus the booking was :matrimonial wanted grooms by religion sikhkhatri/atrora. I confirmed about the category by calling the customer care that it should come under religion - sikh and the same was confirmed to me by them on 24 nov 2017. The invoice raised was also indicating the booking by religion - sikh. However the same has come under caste - khatri. When i had booked under category religion how the same has appeared under category caste. When i inquired from them they wrote me like this : "
This is an update regarding your ad (Ad id:1353443). Please note, we have verified that you have mentioned in the special instruction box - khatri/ arora. If customers mention any specific details in the special instruction box, the same is considered for publication. Specifically, khatri/ arora is not available in hindustan times therefore, as per your ad text, your ad was published in khatri. This was not an error as both options, sikh and khatri/ arora were requested by you while booking and as per our policy, the request mentioned in special instruction box is considered while processing.
I wrote them that there is no box of special instructions at the first place. Second the invoice as well as the booking is confirmed under religion - sikh. It may also be noticed that company took their own decision of putting the ad under khatri since khatgri/arora as mentioned in any preference is not there in t. They totally ignored my instructions of first three boxes which say about religion. When i complained to them they kept my ticket open till 02.12.2017 and suddenly they closed the ticket backdated."
The company never bothered to call me to confirm the details. They are too unprofessional, when anyone calls him they put the phone on hold for very long time. I am asking them copy of company policy which they have refereed but no answer. They have no comments for invoice and booking which show the right category.

This complaint is with reference to an ad (Ad id 1347179) i had submitted to releasemyad on 02.11.2017 to be published in madurai edition of dinamalar on 05.11.2017.

An online payment of rs. 840/- was made for which i received a email confirmation.

But unfortunately, the ad was not published and the amount not refunded inspite of several complaints over phone and also on the company's website.

The executives agreed that the ad was not published but the amount will be refunded only after they get a confirmation from dinamalar regarding the same. Not just that, i was asked to speak to dinamalar on their behalf which is ridiculous.

When it is clear that the ad has not been published, is it not imperative for the company to make a refund of the money to their customer. What has the customer got to do in their dealing with the newspaper?

It is surprising that most national dailies have authorised releasemyad as their offiicial online ad agent when there is an alarming number of complaints against this company from various customers on this forum itself.

I would highly appreciate if i get a refund of the amount of rs. 840/- made by me towards publishing my ad in the newspaper.

The total number of campaign was 5 days but the ad was broadcasted only one day only and was stopped due to our clients demands so i’ informed mr. Souptik bhattacharjee (Manager of ‘release myad’) and asked for a refund but he refused to pay the remaining ‘four days’ campaign and after months communication finally the accounts department agreed to pay me on 12.09.2017 after 25% cancellation charge - 4890.47 the final refund amount - rs. 14671.41 which i’ have still not received from them as they always give some excuse like manager is not in town etc, etc.
Now i’ need ‘akosha’ to take action against ‘release myad’ and help me in getting my refund back.

I have booked an ad in 13/09/2017, my ad number is 1336495 as per your staff advance in announcement category for my missing passport. The same day itself i cancelled it, as again when i checked with your customer care they said it's in different criteria. They told me i will get a reimbursement after deducting 25-30%, which i still don't understand and never acceptable.

Till today i haven't received my reimbursement, i here with attach all the conversation and emails to file a case in consumer court and also am submitting a complaint with pti press trust of india. I am a cyber crime consultant, if this what is done to me, i just can imagine wlhow you people deal with the ones who can't raise a complaint. I am about to make this vital and make sure that all the officials involved will be bought in front of law. As well as i going to raise a campaign against releasemyad.com.

If non of your higher officials contact me by today, i make sure by tomorrow morning, tuesday i will go ahead with legal actions. I will bring this issue to the media, as i found many complaints from many customers who are really waiting to sue you all.

I had booked for an ad on 07/08/17 for an ad to be published on 20/08/17 in the telegraph & ananda bazar patrika on 20/08/17 and 27/08/17. I went through all the steps over the website & made the payment of rs 5712/, i also have a copy of the booking mail.
20/08/17 add was released and 27/08/17 was not.
We called at customer care many times and also sent a mail regarding our complain. Now customer care is told me 27th august 2017 add was free from there side so you have to be contact before 3rd sept 2017.
1st of all it was not a free add. Because i paid rs1500 extra for 2nd date that means 27th aug, your 1 day ad release charges is rs 4080 for 120 characters & i paid rs. 5712 so 27th august 2017 ad booking was not free from your side and we contacted your company's customer care on 31st august.
I contacted many times. 31st august 2017, 4th september 2017 and 6th september 2017. Now they told me your 2nd ad not possible for release.

I feel cheated as i had already paid for 2 days ad release. Kindly reply asap.
I also sent a mail on 06.09.2017 to [protected]@releasemyad.com but no reply till today.

Advt booked on 14th aug 2017 for 18 aug 2017, print media of malayalamanorama all edition and overseas.. Advt never came. When we asked for the proof they gave small clipping.. Which looked like photo shop... Called publication office kannur and checked, they confirmed advt was not their. Called customer care many times. They were very rude and adamant. I am a regular customer... This is the first time i have noticed...

After completing all the ad creation steps at the website releasemyad.com, my ad was ready to be published in ht classifieds, chandigarh.

They even assigned an id 132950 to my ad.

I paid the cost of rs.1187 on the spot. Then i got call to pay 180 rupees more. I paid that too.

But the truth is that my ad was not published in newspaper. I feel cheated and frustrated. A lot of emails and calls to the company were also useless. They say you are not looking properly. I have checked the newspaper many times.

I have asked for job an ad in economic times tuesday mumbai edition on 13/06/17 via booking number 1314882 on 09/06/17 through releasemyad and they have charged me rs 8, 973/ for the ad. I have raised a ticket on 10/06/17 vide no 132947 for discussion and called over phone but no body responded and given poor service.
They have not published ad on 13/06/17.
I have written through e mail dated 14/06/17 to releasemyad to publish in the next week dated 20/06/17 in the recruitment/careers/fast track page and they have agreed.
But on 20/06/17 they have not publish the ad on recruitment/careers/fast track page. Instead they have put the ad on some other page on 20/06/17.
As such i was cheated twice by releasemyad.
I am ready to battle legal case against releasemyad.

I booked a ad to dhinathanthi news paper through releasemyad.com on 12th may, i made payment rs.401, i cancelled after one hour they told cancellation charge is 25%. Ok no problem i accept. The remain amount will receive 7-10 days, but still not receive money, they said we refund contact your bank, i asked if you refund means tell me transaction id, they cut call, why govt allows this type of company.

I booked my add on "releasemyad.com" on 23-02-17, even after 15 working days they are returning my money, if i call customer care, no one properly response, if send mail, they will respond after long time saying "your refund is in process". My ad (Ad id:1291684, 1291679).. No service atall, customer care executives are very hard responding. Please don't go with release my add, your money and time will be wasted. The purpose of your add will be spoiled, they are not lucky too... You will be frustrated and your money will definitely lost one...
I was depressed and i lost my control, they way they responding. Everything will happen as per there wish and not ours.. This sort of peoples and sites are all waste, totally waste, better give add to near by agents...

My name is Mayank Roongta, had given 02 advertisements for the matrimonial sections of Rajasthan Patrika and Dainik Bhaskar for Sunday printing.
The problem is that the printing is done wrongly in others sections which should be in Agrawal section.
I don't want to make any changes in the words inserted for the advertisement, the only change has to be done is that for the upcoming advertisement has to be printed in Agrawal section.This is to also inform that the customer care has not replied properly and were very rude, stubborn in their replies.

I had Booked for an ad(Ad Id[protected] on 17/01/17 for an ad to be published in MALAYALA MANORAMA NEWS PAPER. I went through all the steps over the website & made the payment of Rs 2000/, not to mention the ad was confirmed over the website. I also have a copy of the invoice.After that i got a mail asking for extra money and documents. As i was don't had the documents and i refused to pay the extra amount, they forcely cancelled my ad.They told that they will repay the full amount at that time within 8-10 business days. On Feb-03 i got a mail from their side telling refund of 1500 is initiated. But till now i didn't received nothing. I feel cheated as i had already paid what i was asked to pay. Where we should give complaints against these peoples? This is not a single website doing the same.There are lot of peoples who are victims of these kinds a websites.

My Ad did not appeared, I raised concern with releaseMyAd.com through their issue reporting system. They are asking me to wait for 48Hrs, I have no choice but wait for update, then also releaseMyAd not giving me assurance of publishing. I made full payment online to releaseMyAd.com. These agencies not only doing such untrustworthy service with customers but also taking advantage of Big newpapers name. With the initiative of PM of India to go digital these kind of companies are threat for Digital India and does not look responsible to handle the consumer and might not be trustworthy. Ad i'd 1266947, i had booked on 6th but not publish ad till now. Complaint is not able to print my ad even after 2 weeks. They had confirm that issue is there but not able to tell reason. This is totally unprofessional. They are not even refund my money. By this complaint they will reimburse the money but strict action should be taken. As customer has to suffer, i had called many times for issue they just say sorry. No solution.

I booked for an ad on Hindu through releasemyad.com on 22nd of August 2016 and payed the full amount. After 2 days I got a call saying that I need pay 200 extra which I paid on the same day.
But today (22nd August) I got a call again from releasemyad.com saying that the ad is not published and they don't have a reason for that. When I asked for the refund they said they cannot provide it.
I am going to file a criminal case against this fraud company releasemyad.com

Friends never book any ads through releasemyad.com. Releasemyad.com is a 100% fraud company fraud company, run by fraudsters from west bengal.
