I booked an advertisement on 23/06/2016 in releasemyad.com, which was to be published on 03/07/2016, sunday, in bartaman newspaper.

The advt. id is 1248058.

The advertisement was not published, saying that the ad does not comply.

Thereafter, i called at releasemyad.com customer care numbers several times. multiple times either no one picks up the call, or forward the call to some unknown destination for indefinite time.

Hence, i immediately want the money to be refunded back to me (total paid amount by me rs. 614/-).

Please credit back the amount rs. 614/- in the same bank account, from which the said payment was done.

I do not want, by any means, to publish the advertisement on any other date.

I believe, you would do the needful asap.

I would like to confirm that i found this website on 29 may 2016 to publish the advertisement for name change in 2 leading newspapers.
Online they charged my card for full amount & confirmed that advertisement will be published on 31 may, as required by me.
Next day, after the money was charged by them.
Person from customer service called that advertisement could not be published on 31 may & it will take 1 more day for this.
I told them to cancel the service & provide me the full refund for (Ad id: 1242864 + ad id:1242865).
Over the phone, person confirmed full refund as releasemyad failed to publish the advertisement online. There is no problem from customer side.
Today, it is 23/06/2016 & i am still fighting for my refund.
Now, the customer service is sending me an email - "please be informed that as you were not able to provide the require document, there is the 25% deduction for ad cancellation charge as per the policy and it has been mentioned into your invoice also".
As they have money with them already, releasemyad.com has started to find out ways for making profit by not refund the money.
I would also like to mention here that this complaint for making fraud with customer is so genuine that i have email from them which earlier mentioned that full refund will be provided by them & they dishonor that now.

Now you see what they are saying now & what they said earlier...

Do not deal with this company..
They are taking away customer money by not giving service.
Take a note, you can not file the complaint to bank / do charge back to this company as the transaction made by customer online is with secure gateway.
This company is doing good business – charge the customer, not provide any service just reasons by showing them problem from customer side.

Better to call local newspaper vendor & get this done by paying extra charge

I wish somebody reading this can take them to court & get out money they have taken from customers for service not provided & dishonor of commitment.

This company has a big loophole which traps customers into paying money in advance and makes them cancel on their own to acquire 25% Refund which is very unethical practice.

Here is my scenario.I've paid money in advance and was asked to upload an image for the quote mentioned. When I uploaded the image, I would expect an error message if it is larger than expected quote.Instead, the website accepts the image and provides me with three options since it already has hold of my advance money.

The 3 options provided to me are:-

1.Pay for the uploaded image with increased quote or
2.Fix the image within given time frame or
3. Cancel for 25% less Refund.

The company instead of assisting me with fixing the size of the image, it would reject N number of times saying -Not the quoted size.They keep rejecting until you cancel the advertisement and allow them to charge 25% Refund.

In any case this is total "lost" situation for Customer and a "Win" situation for the Company. This unethical practice can fetch the company quick money .In my case they made 7K for making me cancel the advertisement but the company lost credibility of NRI's and hopefully my message is an eye opener for everyone who believes in trust.

I am getting fraud type reply from your c. Care employees in case of my ad. Id.1238971, ad given online dt 10/05/2016. The mode of payment is through credit card and pyment made was inr 665/.In spite of calling again and again i am not given justification except replying that payment is not paid. Kindly let me know the status of my add which is to be published on 14.05.16.

I had booked an ad having ad id 1238026 on may 5, 2016 to publish a matrimonial ad in dainik jagran yttaranchal publication on 8 th may 2016 & make payment through net banking. company send confirmation message. but despite all of this my ad could not publish on 8 th may 2016 which can cause unbearable loss for personal front which can not be fulfilled now but altleast this complain would be a lesson for such websites to save someone else. kindly take necessary steps.

While booking the advertisement they charge you very less amount and after confirmation the price was increased to 10 times this is cheating they are giving the useless excuses that newspaper has increased the price they might be cheating with many customers like this strict action should be taken against them as they are making fool of many customers like this.

I booked a matrimonial advertisement on 17/03/2016 for punjab kesri to be published for sunday classified. But on 20/03/2016 it did not come in newspaper. I raised the complaint and customer care said we will revert you in 48 hours. No revert from them. I thought it might come in 27/03/2016 paper but no...I rang them 13 times and they keep holding and never reply...Ultimately i had to cut phone. They are frauds.

I booked an AD through releaseMyAd company on 26th Feb., 2016 for matrimonial wanted groom by caste Kshatria for publication on 6th March, 2016 in Dainik Bhasker(All Rajasthan) .The Company had given me AD(Id 1224704). But my AD published in Kayasth category. I have send E-mail for complaint on 7th March, 2016 14th March, 2016 and many times telephonic call on [protected] of customer care center of the said company. Please help me to refund my Rs. 879 and other expenditure for inconvenience.

I have booked my company add through there website www.releasemyad.com. My add id was 1212262.Regarding my add we received a call and they informed my requested date was not available.So we cancelled our order.After so many follows up we received a mail from they asking us to share our bank account details to deposit our refunded amount.This mail was replayed on the same date 30/12/2015..But Still today 16/03/2016 we haven't got anything.
When ever we are calling the customer care we are getting the same answer "Please wait for 7 working days" we called the customer care today they said more 3 days, try to reach them via on line chat their response is more 7 working days.

So please help me to get my payment or else this amount will debit from my salary.

I had raised a request to this company for a thanksgiving to Infant Jesus on 25th Feb in the banglore edition Deccan Herald. The money was cut, but the article did not come in the newspaper. The AD ID is 1223349.

Since it was not published I want my money to be refunded

I have added the phone number in my ad and submitted the ad after payment. They called me today and says since the Contact Number is used, they count it as 2 words per contact number. When I asked about the meaning of the word 'wprd', they replied that 'any set of letters that makes only one sense'. How can contact number make 2 senses? If this is the rule, they should have mentioned it upfront or the software they used should have counted it. None happened. I asked to cancel because of it. They say they'll detect 25% charge. I am really annoyed of this.

I had given advertisement vide ad ID 122267.The advertisement was published with absolutely incorrect details.I immediately raised complaint through proper mechanism but no reply received and complaint closed without any action and feedback form send to me for complaint resolution survey, it was at that time i came to know my complaint has been closed.when i called their customer care they said we have done what ever we could you can talk yourself with Tribune newspaper and made fun of me by asking me to renarrate my complaint and then laughing that he is still not able to understand and disconnected the phone by saying that I am lying.when i recalled he again said he cant do anything and again disconnected the phone.This is the customer service for a customer regularly giving business to them.

This is regarding my advertise mt to be displayed in Mathrubhumi newspaper Ad # 1217927.

I made the payment Rs. 3960/- for my ad through their website 'releasemyad.com', as per the word counting logic in their website. Few days after making the payment I got an email saying.. 'As discussed over the phone earlier, in order to accommodate the special changes for your ad, please make the additional payment via the following link...' asking for Rs.766/-. This is pure lie. Neither did I ask for any special changes in my ad nor did anyone from this company to discuss this matter with me. I replied to them asking for clarification, but no response.

Tried chatting with them through 'Live Chat' no response. I doubt the credibility of this website and their service.

I feel cheated here, and want refund of the whole payment made for which I was promised service.

My advisement not yet published in Tamilnadu Madurai edition payment was made 6-1-2016, I requested several time till date nothing will happen

Fraud company !!! Ad ID-1215893, posted on Jan 11, 2016. While posting ad it was showing Rs.3, 387.00 and i made online payment but after that got a call from customer care that i need to pay Rs.3500/= extra for the same ad to post.. So i had cancelled my post and requested for refund.. so many times called to customer care, they will put my call on hold and wouldn't answer.. still waiting.. don't know what to do... THIS IT SELF SHOWS THAT THEY ARE CHEATING. its a PAKKA FAKE AND FRAUD COMPANY...

Dear Sir, We contacted releasemyad.com on the 29th of November, 2015 to get a quote for the matrimony Ad to be printed for my daughter in TOI. The quote in 2 + 2 free TOI for National Selection West was given to us as Rs 4201.44 and we paid them fully and they committed the Ad to printed in the newspaper on 6, 13, 20, 27th of December, 2015. However we get a mail on 3rd Dec and a call on 4th Dec, 15 that we need to pay an additional 200 rupees to get the ad printed as we dint the full amount. The entire mail trail with full commitment from their helpdesk and payment received confirmation is with us. It is a clear case of cheating and fraud and making customers their soft target by initially giving me wrong quotes, taking payment from them and then asking them for more money and black-mailing them. Please help us. The ad Booking number was - Classified Ad booking 1209292 at releaseMyAd.

Hi This is Sandeep and my order id number is 1205052, I had placed a ad on 30/10/2105 to release on 1st of November, they sent me a confirmation and also took the money. On 1st my ads was not placed called the customer service and no body picked the call. the next day placed a complained they told they will get back and haven't got to me at all. Later I had to call them back wanting to know what happening to my ads and no body knows the answer. Later I receive an email saying that they can process a refund. Today when called they say that they released it from their end and its the problem with Times of India. Never new that Times of India will have a tie ups with such a bad company. I was such an important ads basically 100 years birthday of my grand father. They have a very bad customer service team.

I inquired to book a matrimonial add through releasemyadd.com on 16th October 2015. They send me a quotation of Rs. 30.323.70/- for 6 inserts of add and further gave a discount of 7% i.e. of Rs. 2701.76/-. finally they asked me to deposit Rs. 28202/- for 6 inserts of add in their category National Selection (west). I paid the amount of Rs. 28202/- on 21.10.2015 and they issued an Invoice for conformation of add release with dates(copy enclosed). further after 10 days they asked me to deposit Rs. 6480/- for my add publication and warned that if I do not deposit the amount, they will not publish my add. I want to submit that I have deposited the amount as per their previous directions. now they are demanding more than their quotation amount before 02 days ago of the date of publication. this is a type of Consumer harassment. I request you to do needful in the matter. Thanks

I booked a name change announcement advertisement (Ad ID: 1201450) in Anandabazar Patrika, Burdwan Edition through RelaseMyAd on 3rd of October, 2015. The release date I selected was 6th October. I got a call on next day saying that the same will be published on 7th October instead. I agreed. But it was not published on 7th. I again called them and raised a complaint. They took days to get back and finally confirmed that it will be published on 11th October for sure. It's not published again. I'm trying to reaching them out over +[protected] and[protected], but no one picking up my phone. I'm pretty sure that they are cheating. Can you look into this matter please and I have to submit the photocopy for passport application. Many thanks.

My Add ID : 1192304, Add was supposed to be published on 5th of august in Times - Bangalore edition but it was not published. Raised complaints end no of time but only one response that add is published and they cannot do anything on it. When asked for proof and page no of add, no one is reverting and the issue is not solved.I have been regularly putting add from this website but this time they haven't published it and they r not reverting on the same.
