IS ANYBODY OUT THERE?
SINCE 1st AUGUST I HAVE BEEN FACING PROBLEMS.. WITH RELIANCE!
That is since my first day of Reliance Broadband internet connection
(which actually started only on Aug 16th..!)
RIGHT NOW I HAVE PAID EXTRA MONEY AND FEEL VERY CHEATED BY THE WHOLE DEAL
I have registered numerous complaints and made many phone calls..
BUT TILL TODAY THERE IS NO CLARITY FROM YOUR SIDE
THE LATEST BEING MY CONVERSATION WITH ABHISHEK
ON SOME STRANGE SECRETARIAT OFFICE NUMBER[protected]
It is really pathetic that the above number is not toll free!
Anyways pls check out this number ABHISHEK gave me[protected]
AND ALSO

BUT STILL -
LET ME EXPLAIN ONCE AND FOR ALL -
Around the 1st week of July.
YOUR REPRESENTATIVE MR. JAISWAL
contacted me when I inquired about Reliance Internet on JustDial
I told him that I am interested in the offer.
However I would need the connection to be starting only from 1Aug onwards.
At which he advised me to keep the all the wiring, modem (installation) ready,
before I left town on 11th July.
Our plan/deal was on that when I arrived on Aug 1st I would be able to get my internet started, by making a simple phone call to him, Mr. Jaiswal. Within half an hour he would give me the login usernumber and password.
Since it seemed very convenient to me (naively)
ON 10th July, (10/07/14), Before I left, I paid Rs: 1548 by cheque.
Now when I came back on Aug1st and tried to call him he
JUST WOULD NOT PICK UP THE PHONE!
The few times he picked up the phone,
he simply reassured me that he would drop in and check out
but he never landed up..
WHAT WAS EVEN MORE FRUSTRATING WAS your HELPLINE IVR
THE FIRST TIME I GOT THRU ON[protected]
I HAD TO WAIT FOR ALMOST 40 MINUTES!
And they said that: I have to contact Mr. Jaiswal and only he can help me out..!
THIS WENT ON TILL AUG 16th..!
AND IT WAS ONLY BECAUSE I AND MY SPOUSE WERE
ABLE TO CALL UP KOPAR KHAIRANE OFFICE AND SPEAK TO
Ms. Bharkha! By that time I had lost it and I formally apologise
to Ms Bharka for blurting out a couple of profanities.
Anyways thanks to her.. MR. JAISWAL FINALLY SHOWED
only to realise that the wire was cut.. Again it was like
"Sir kal karunga, etc, etc" But we would have none of it and
FINALLY AT 7PM. on Aug16th the internet actually started!
BUT BARELY 15 DAYS LATER..
ON 1ST SEPT.. MY INTERNET WAS AGAIN CUT!
I was informed that I have to pay Rs.932!
AGAIN MR JAISWAL
AFTER TELLING ME THAT HE WILL LOOK INTO THE MATTER ON 1ST
GOT BACK TO ME ONLY ON THE 4TH OR 5TH AND SAID THAT
YES.. I HAD TO PAY THE 932! AND SPEAK TO THE IVR OR EMAIL!!!
NOW EVEN AFTER PAYING THE 932 ON 6TH SEPT!
IT WAS DOWN ON THE 7TH AND ONLY RESTARTED ON THE 8TH!
That was again only after calling Abhishek on the Secretary number..
RIGHT NOW NY CONNECTION IS WORKING..!
BUT I WOULD REALLY LIKE SOME CLARITY ON MY BILL.
LET ME RECAP THE BILL QUESTION TO YOU:
MY CONNECTION STARTED ON 16TH AUG..
I paid 1548/- the break up was explained as
799 installation charges &
749 for and 1 month of internet.
so in effect i should have had no problems till 15th Sept
But on 1st Sept the connection was cut for non-payment
CONNECTION AGAIN STARTED ONLY ON 6TH Sept.
WHEN I WAS FORCED TO PAY MORE MONEY
Rs.924 (I paid Rs1000 online from HDFC).
The next day again there was no internet!!!
Internet started from 8th!
Anyways now my internet is working
BUT I AM ONLY KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED!
CAN SOMEBODY RESPONSIBLE
PLS CALL ME AND SORT OUT MY BILL!
Also,
IF YOUR IVR PEOPLE ADMIT THEY THEY CANNOT SPEAK ENGLISH,
THEN WHY ARE YOU GIVING US AN ENGLISH LANGUAGE OPTION!
some of them even VERY RUDE AND REFUSED TO SPEAK IN ENGLISH
even after I repeatedly explained and apologised for my Hindi being weak.
Someone name, Surichi or Richi from RETENTION dept
WAS ESPECIALLY RUDE AND HUNG UP ON ME
when she had no answer for my bill queries
Whats funny about it was that she actually started off by responding to my complain and sort of apologising on behalf of Reliance... HAHAHA
This is like the worst customer service ever. I wished I had recorded that conversation and put it on youtube.! Anyways..
Kindly ensure that whoever calls me from Reliance is conversant in English.
