[Resolved]  Reliance Communications — 4g upgrade - plan from pro 3 did not carry as promised

I was a pro 3 data card customer, i was in the plan 40 gb unlimited with rs 999 rental. I got email from reliance asking me to upgrade to 4g and asking me buy the 4g wipod.in the email they have mentioned that the existing plan will carry forward in 4g.

I spoke to customer care and they too assured that the existing 40gb plan will carry forward. Got the new wipod and the 4g got activated. Even after activation i confirmed it multiple times with customer support about the plan and they assured that i'm in 40gb unlimited plan with rs999 rental.

2 days back i was shocked to see my unbilled amount at rs3000. Tried calling customer care, they said my plan has been changed to 3gb with rs 700 as monthly rental. This has been done without my confirmation.

When asked how the plan was changed without my confirmation, they say that they have discontinued the old cdma plans and the current plan is a default one based on my usage.

Raised a complaint through their twitter handle https://twitter.com/RCommCare. after 2 days a customer care executive called me, the executive could not speak english and i could not speak hindi. When i asked why reliance did not keep up its promise on continuing the old plan and how the new plan was activated without my confirmation, she could not understand it and started acting very rude. I had to disconnect the call.

Tried to contact their twitter handle requesting one more call back from person who can speak english, but they to do not respond now.

Their[protected] does not connect to customer support for the last two days. I'm not sure how to proceed through this issue.

Got a call from customer support. They say they are still working on to see if the old plan can be restored or will provide the option to migrate to plan similar to old one.

Regarding the unbilled amount, asked me to raise a complaint after the bill has been generated. My bill should be generated tomorrow

Reliance Customer Care Team - As per the phone conversation, I have raised the complaint for waiver of bill. My complaint no is[protected]. Also, the executive said that Rcom is considering to restore the old plan, please let me know if there is any upodate on that
