[Resolved] Reliance Communications — Billing after disconnection penal interest charged | |||
I was using Reliance broadband connection with user ID[protected]. i had requested for disconnection of service vide request number[protected] on 02.09.2016. I received the communication that my request has been resolved on 10.09.2016 by SMS as well as e-mail. The connection was also disconnected on 10.09.2016. I received a bill no.[protected] dated 11.09.2016 for the period 11.09.2016 to 10.10.2016 for Rs.1266.64. Since my service has been disconnected on 10.09.2016 I have not paid the bill. I have again received bill no.[protected] dated 11.10.2016 for Rs.102.39 which was shown as late payment charges for the period 11.09.2016 to 10.10.2016 . I am now receiving SMS frequently asking me to remit the penal interest of Rs.102.39. Kindly let me know why I am being hounded to pay penal interest for a disconnected service. Also let me know when I will receive refund amount of the advance paid by me. I will be constrained to approach the consumer forum for redressal of my grievance in case of further requests for payment of penal interest and non refund of my advance money.
