My internet connection which is in the name of my husband vikas manchanda. (customer id is[protected] was installed on 8/10/13. i have not been given proper services since installation. i have lodged so many complaints since october onwards. i did not keep the record of the earlier complaints hoping situation shall improve. this status is still continuing. every time i lodged complaint, i have been assured that the broadband shall be rectified & will work properly. i had even spoke to the senior authority of reliance & had even called at their head office which is situated in mumbai for the proper service but all efforts of mine have gone in wein.in may 2014 the internet did not work almost the whole month. it started working from 30th may & again from 9th june it is not working.in view of the above pathetic situation of my broadband, i have not been in a position to utilize it for the very purpose of my daughter's education & my daughter has suffered a lot as she had to fill online forms for her admission in college & also search for colleges from internet
When the situation did not improve i started keeping the records of my complaint, some of them are in my phone. i have also kept some recordings of the conversation with the customer care representatives. at times they had said that your complaint is already registered with us & your problem will be attended shortly & did not register my complaint again. also they did not give me any complaint number.
On many occasions i have been told that there is some outage problem & that the restoration will take some time & then also they did not give me any complaint number. this has happened quite many times & restoration of my broadband had taken 4-5 days.
In view of the above pathetic situation i had applied for the surrender of my broadband on 27th january 2014, but a call of mr. sachin came from the mumbai office requesting me to give them one more chance & i won't have any problems again. trusting his words i did not surrender my internet. for few days it worked satisfactorily but again the problems started. i applied for the surrender of my reliance broadband many times but again calls from mumbai reliance office had come, requesting me to give them one last chance and that the broadband will work properly. and i always trusted them.
The problem is still the same. every day i have to register a complaint because my internet doesn’t work. even battery backup is not provided. as a result as soon as the electricity goes, the broadband also is disconnected for hours. since last 1 year 1 more thing has come to my notice that the place where the dp of reliance has been installed, reliance does not pay the amount which they had promised. when it does not pay for months, they cut the connection of the internet and it is the cutomers who has to suffer. it remains disconnected for days and months..in may 2016 it was disconnected from 19th – 26th may continuously. after that also it did not work properly & i had to register complaint almost daily.in june 2016, it again was disconnected from 20th – 27t. h. on 28th june 2016 i got a call from mumbai reliance office that the payment issue has been resolved and that i won’t have any problem again but for 1 day it worked & from 29th it is again disconnected till date as the dues were not paid by reliance to the person at whose residence the dp has been installed. it is to be noticed that the amount which reliance has to pay per month is around rs 750/- which is not a big amount for a company like reliance & that too they are not paying to the person from whom they are taking services. and it is the the customers who have to suffer.
Above all, sometimes my complaint is closed without solving my issues and when i call at their lucknow office, my phone is not picked or it is cut and lines made busy.
The above situation has given me lot of pains & i have passed through so many hardships because of the non working of the broadband. even my daughter's career was also at times at risk & i had to run to some cyber cafe for filling the application forms of different institutes across the country& my daughter had to waste her time by going to cyber cafe for completing her project/assignments.in view of the above, i request that the company should be penalized & suitable compensation must be rewarded to me.
