Reliance Communications — Change in data plan and bill overcharged. | |||||
I have been using reliance wipod internet from feb 2016 and my data plan was truly unlimited 3g plan of rs. 999 (1150/- with taxes) with no data limit. My wipod no. Is [protected]. On 10th july, reliance upgraded my device from 3g to 4g stating the benefits will be the same. However, when i confirmed with customer care around 10 times, they said that my data plan for reliance wipod 4g is converted from truly unlimited 3g to 25 gb 4g + 2g unlimited at same price. My data consumption was around 17 gb this month. Reliance sent me a bill of rs. 4862/- which is not possible according to the plan they gave me. They changed my data plan to 5 gb limited plan. They never informed me about changing the plan. After a month straightly they sent me the bill. There was no communication from reliance by any ways (No sms, mail, call). On contacting customer care they start misbehaving and are lying telling me that they sent me email about my plan. But, there was no communication sent from their end. Their behaviour is fraudulent.
