Reliance Communications — Closed connection - legal notice intimation | |||
My reliance dongle was not working for couple of months during Jul - Aug 2015, and when I took it to reliance outlets they told the dongle is no more supported by Reliance, and they suggested I buy a new upgraded dongle for an additional cost. I was not interested, and hence requested my account (connection) be closed in my name. They told I have to pay one month's additional rental amount for the same though the dongle was not working. I made a final bill payment of Rs.1570/- at a chennai reliance outlet (in Sep 15) though my monthly bill amount was only Rs.855/-. Now I have received a legal notice intimation by SMS saying I have a balance outstanding. Worst part is if I visit the reliance outlet directly, they told me to contact customer care by phone. and when I called up customer care they told me to visit the reliance outlets again???? since my account was in cancelled mode and could not view any information (they told it is cancelled state).
