[Resolved]  Reliance Communications — Connection suspended without prior information

I currently run a Thunder1099 plan from Reliance Communication. I had a major issue where in I literally had no working connection for the duration of a month during the Jan - Feb period, and after numerous calls and series of complaints it was rectified only in February. I had requested them to extend this one month period to compensate for the one month that i had no working connection. To this there was no response. The issue at hand is however another matter. I travel quite a lot and i just reached back home today morning from my travel to the United States, only to find that my connection had been suspended. When i spoke to a customer care executive at 5.30am (i made the call immediately after i reached home from the airport), i was told that i had not paid the bill amount and so the connection has been suspended. I was shocked. He told me the connection has been suspended since 27th June 2015. I pay the bill on a half yearly basis and the prepaid bill amount i had paid for was for the period starting from 10th Jan 2015 upto 9th July 2015. On further questioning they state they cannot access the previous bill and that they only have access to the latest bill and that my connection was suspended because my credit amount had been exceeded. This is outrageous. The new bill i received was dated on 28th June and its for the period of 10th July 2015 to 9th Jan 2016 (this is clearly stated in the bill). Also the due date for the bill is 15th July. What i do not understand is on what basis did they disconnect my connection and why was i not informed on this earlier and before disconnection? The previous bill amount was paid in full. I have attached a copy of the old bill period and paid receipt and also the new bill period. Reliance Communications is becoming more money oriented, not that they weren't before, but this time they are trying to push customers to pay more. The customer care executives were very rude over the phone and not one were wiling to understand the situation and work out the issue accordingly. I have lost all interest in this service provider. I had stuck with using their services even after a many people had suggested i discard the connection because of the poor service. I will no longer pursue this connection unless this is rectified in 1 day.

The concerns have been addressed? By who? One of your customer service executives contacted me and told me the case was closed and all the person did was ask me if my connection was working. He did nothing to rectify the issue, but instead asked me to escalate it in the social media. Reliance Communications disconnected my connection without prior notice and without a valid reason stated above. I was in dire need for the use of the net access so i was forced to pay the next bill as obtaining a new connection will require days for activation.

I still have the following issues,

1. Even after paying the bill, the connection is as sloppy as ever. If I have a working connection for a few minutes, i wont have a connection for the next so many minutes. This disconnects me from my online live connections and causes a huge hindrance.

2. Since the 5th, i have placed numerous complaints with reliance regarding this issue. However, each complaint keeps getting closed without any proper rectification what-so-ever.

3. I was not compensated for the 1 month there was no connection. Back in Jan-Feb 2015, the connection was not working at all, in fact i could not even obtain the reliance log-in page, such was the status of the connection during this period. i had paid for a full 6 months back in January. I need a compensation for this issue and i have waited so long with no response from Reliance end.

4. My connection was disconnected on 27th June onwards without any prior notice or valid reason. I had already paid the bill for the period from 10th Jan 2015 up to 9th July 2015. Then why was my connection disconnected stating unpaid bills? I had to pay the bill for the period from 10th July 2015 to 9th Jan 2016 for the connection to work again. I need a valid compensation for this issue as well.

So far from everything i have had to deal with, i understand that, Reliance Communications does not value customers and customer service, instead all they value is the money. They do not provide maintenance of their network and they do not provide a good enough customer service experience.
