I was a reliance dongle user from Baroda I wasn't satisfied with it & planned to change it. When after the outstanding payment was done. i told them to discontinue with it. They asked me to talk on toll free number.The person suggested that i can keep it in safe custody for two months if i'm not happy or have problems with the new broadband then i can use my dongle otherwise the dongle facility can never be availed. I asked if i have to pay anything during the safe custody period time & they confirmed that i won't be charged. It sounded a fair deal to me & i thought i have nothing to lose. After two months & four days i went to terminate it & again they made me talk on toll free number. They kept asking me the reasons for discontinuation after more than half an hour he was not coming to any conclusion & i was highly irritated as he started telling me to pay money. As i was already informed i won't be charged. I insisted that at no cost i would pay them & left their Race course circle branch. I kept on receiving bills &messages to pay & every time a new person calling me would waste my time for no reason. Day before yesterday the person called up asking me to pay Rs, 1334/ to avoid any legal proceedings.I had to fight & tell them that when i have not used the internet through a dongle I am not liable to pay. They have a different story every time, When the consumer is not made aware about the company's policies beforehand, how can they charge?
