[Resolved] Reliance Communications — Generating postpaid bills in spite of not using phone and request for closure of connection
I Sanjeev Kumar Seth was using Reliance Postpaid connection no. [protected] in Ahmedabad. I left Ahmedabad six months back. I was generally getting bill for lump sum amount Rs 500-600. Now I am in Karnataka. When I came Karnataka I received bill of Rs.[protected]. When I enquired about this they told its due to roaming charges and higher call rates. That time I was not convinced by the company .But I received several calls from company for payment. The lady who called me regularly promised me that you pay this bill You will not get further bill and the connection would be closed. I agreed to pay the bill on assurance that I will not get further bill because I did not require this connection for longer as I left Gujarat Circle. On 07.05.2016 I received call from company that I have not paid the bill after January. I was surprised to hear this they are still generating the bill for connection which I am not using for the past five months and I have thrown the Sim. Yesterday one lady call me and telling she is from legal department and told me either pay the bill or be ready to face legal consequences. She was using abusive and filthy language. Kindly look into the matter and close the connection what I am not using for the past five months
