[Resolved] Reliance Communications — Misappropriation of recharge amount of Rs. 70/- | |||
Phone No. :- [protected] of Reliance Smart GSM Service To whom it may concern I would like to bring to your notice that Reliance Communications has been deducting amount from my cell phone with the above mentioned number without any valid reason. Around Rs.70/- was deducted from my account on 25 October, 2014 around afternoon. The main balance was reduced to Rs. 0.15. Whenever I called the Customer Care, they always made the same excuse of the system being down and tell to call later and they do not lodge a complaint, including their senior technicians. When I finally got through after a lot o[censored]nsuccessful attempts, they said that no kind of 'value added services' were registered and they cannot help me with the issue and told me to call later since they will check once again later. This has been a very painful experience for me as every time I call them, a new executive picks up the phone I have to explain the whole issue to them and they once again say the same thing, i.e.system is down so they will check later. I am still yet to get this amount and am not able to make regular calls, send messages, use data packet. I am also hesitant to do recharge again as I am worried they might take away my balance on some pretext or the other. I would like to notify you that this is not my first experience of such malpractice. On 4 October, 2014, I recharged this same number with Rs. 111, and this whole amount was siphoned off by evening. For three consecutive days, I called up the customer care many times and they said the system is down. On the fourth day, they said their servers do not hold data for more than three days and they cannot help me in any way. After a prolonged argument with them, they agreed to lodge a complaint and then after nine days on 13 October, I finally got my full balance back (in two phases: Rs. 33 on 8 October and Rs.87 on 13 October). It is from this amount only that the above Rs. 70 has been deducted, again. My DND is activated, still these kind of problems occur. I had examinations during this period and I was completely cut off for roughly ten days. This has been a huge nuisance for me as I have wasted a lot of time, money and energy behind it and I am literally losing my sleep over this new method of malpractice the company has started to harass people and make profit.
