Hi, This complaint is with respect to the ridiculous sms sent to my contact number by reliance communications. This is regarding some bill payment due which they asked me to pay by today for a hsd which i used years back and now it is closed more than year back. History: If i remember i used a reliance dongle couple of years back. I had to cancel and close this service because of so much network issues i faced. I called their "poor responding and poor responsible" customer care so many times for this issue (They said no network coverage at my area and their technical team working on network connectivity at this place... But i used it before also i think at least a year) and finally they promised me to wave off one month bill unfortunately which never happened and i paid the all bills on time. Finally, i requested for the closure of the account and customer care assured that the account will be closed in few days and no payment dues are pending from my side... I think this happened in early 2015. Note: i tried contacting and emailing all the nodal officers for this case. All of sudden, last year i think jan/feb 2016 i received a call from a advocate saying i have not paid few bills for which they have taken this action without any prior communication to me... I tried to explain the case to him but finally i thought of just paying what ever is there and get ride of this (Because it was my maternity period and i knew it was waste my time and energy calling customer care/escalate it etc). So after paying everything, i requested for the closure again, not sure why this was not closed before. This time i noted down the request number for close/cancelling the account... I think this time it happened because i enquired it again and again from customer care by calling couple of times that my dongle is not existing in my name any more and it is closed with out any issues and dues, i noted few request numbers also... I felt a big relief after this. And again a sms for a bill to avoid legal action??? Yesterday. I tried calling customer care and getting the details on the dongle number and the number is invalid now and no info available for customer care people also and they said this may be because the number got cancelled... And they say to go to reliance store and check. When a account is closed it is true that they would have checked all dues before the final action right? This is so frustrating, and i am totally disappointed with the customer service of reliance. Please see this case as i can see many customers have already raised complaints against the similar issue.
