[Resolved]  Reliance Communications — Raising of Inappropriate Bills

Dear Customer Care Team:
This is in regards to my connection number: [protected]. With extreme regret and pain I am forced to write this mail to you.

Following ‘Factual Points’ put the agony and despair I have been through:

1. Service to my dongle number had abruptly stopped from company side on 25 June, 2016.
2. I had called up the customer care numbers many number of times to get my service resumed, but in vain. First I was told that my outstanding bill has not been paid; to my surprise my bill date has not yet reached, but the tele-operator advised me to pay the monthly amount which I did anticipating that probably company has changed my bill date/ pay date.
3. Even after acting on the prompt advice my connection could not be resumed, as advised within 24 hrs. Even later also.

4. Calling back I get a new response that it is impossible to resume my service till I upgrade to 4G services and get a new device costing @899.
5. I pleaded that this sudden closure has hampered my work and I have to send important documents, kindly resume it, which went unheard and the call was forwarded to senior to senior. All suggested the same.

6. Aghast at the state of affairs and the deep inconvenience caused I had to get to some other mode of net surfing in hurry.


7. Since then I had been receiving numerous calls at all hours for the time period of around 1 month. To all I expressed my unwillingness to upgrade as this was unnecessary financial burden on me, plus the 4g network at my current position of Rae Bareli was under upgrade and hence stalled even for those who decided to upgrade.
8. Having purchased the 3G Pro Dongle few months back I was not told about the upcoming upgrade and the additional cost that the company would append to me.


9. During each of my calls I had refrained that I wish that my connection be stopped. I had even gone to your Bargad Chaurah reliance office in Raebareli for assistance to which the guys told me that they cannot help; call customer care.
10. For all the months till I was in use of reliance net connect service I had paid all my bills on time in a strict regimented manner.


Questions:
1. Since my connection was stalled from the side of the company and not me at Reliance’s will and convenience- Why should I pay for the months that I have not been allowed to use the services?
2. What about professional and financial inconvenience and loss incurred by me by the sudden stalling of service by reliance?


3. What about the investment that I made in your dongle which is now useless as I cannot connect through it?
4. As a customer am I supposed to run from pillar to post answering calls and going to helpless center to disconnect my connection?

I request through you to the company to consider the case and appropriately and disconnect my connection with all the inappropriately raised bills withdrawn with immediate effect.

I got contacted by the social media cell member and as advised I have mailed to terminate my connection but I still await the withdrawal of in appropriately raised bills .

I got contacted by some legal cell based in Delhi with regards to the matter above. It was quite intimidating call from them opinionated and judgmental in their own right. I hope as commented from your end, my earlier complaint would have been forwarded by your team and as I said earlier I had mailed to your office and attorney.

I do not understand why the company needs to be aggressive even in the face of overwhelming evidence of service being withdrawn from your end and not mine.

Hope that you people would get to the matter at the earliest.

They are doing this fraud to everyone. I have terminated the netconnect number [protected] on 18th june 2016 and confirmed the termination by calling their customer care (call recording available). One month later, i got a bill with a different tariff plan for my terminated number . When I call the customercare asking this they will disconnect the call ...Fraud management, Fraud cutomercare.. TOTAL FRAUD COMPANY

Thousands of poor people are being harassed and cheated by Reliance . We should unite and move together against this FRAUD COMPANY .
