[Resolved] Reliance Communications — refund not initiated even after 175 days whereas company policy is about 45 to 60 days | |||
Hi there, I am on advance rental plan. My bill was generated on 23rd december, 2016. Bill was for 24th december 2016 to 23rd june, 2017. It’s an advance payment of 3209.64 inr. My internet was closed for many days during the previous term for which i had paid in advance. So i got several calls from their side asking to pay the bill. I asked for refund. The guy with whom i talked for the last said me “company has accepted my refund request. And now i have to pay only 2846 instead of 3209.64 “. To this point i agreed. I asked for written proof. And that guy has sent me the mail. I have that mail with me. The guy mailed me on 8th february. I paid the amount on 11th february, 2017. Still services were discontinued. So i called them, and they said that my account got deactivated on 7th february. If the account got deactivated, why you do call and send mails to me after that and ask for payments? They said, as an account is deactivated, now there is no chance of continuing service. I will get my money refunded via cheque within 45 to 60 days. (As per company policy). I agreed to the same as well. According to my calculations, i should get the cheque by 8th april. But i didn’t. So i checked with them, they said cheque is not credited by company yet. Company is in loss, mumbai headquarter is not refunding any amounts as of now. It will take some time. I thought to wait. This took so long that i am writing this to you on today 29th july, 2017. Still i haven’t received any cheque. During this period, i have gone through so many calls and many visits to the company quarter at ahmedabad. Every time they gave a commitment, and none of them got fulfilled by them. The guy with whom i talked at reliance broadband, ahmedabad center said, it will be given to me latest by 15th july, 2017. Still it is not given. Now i am calling him, he’s not receiving. Even none of the number from company (Ahmedabad center) is reachable. It says “the number you’re trying to reach is currently switched off”. Now, i tried customer care as well, they said no userid exists with the same number. I don’t know what should i do?
