[Resolved]  Reliance Communications — Reliance communication data card # [protected]

Dear sir,

Please find attached herewith bills for the month of dtd 5 july 2016 and 5 aug 2016. The july 16 bill was with credit of rs.93.00 and my usual bill plan of rs 300.00 per month. But aug 16 bill is whooping rs 863.70 as current charges and adjustment of rs. 30.00 only instead of rs 93.00.

On further going through the bill it was noticed that my plan is changed to rs 1100.00 per month. This an increase of 266%. The reasons are not mentioned.

At the time o[censored]pgrade from cdma to 4g it was clearly told by your store representative that your post plan will not change you have to only buy new 4g device. So the new device was purchased.

But suddenly receiving a whooping bill was a shock. The change in plan was not informed neither the telephonic consent was taken nor the last month's bill dtd 5 july 2016 mentioned about the change.


I am definitely not interested to continue with revised plan, at the same time do not want to compromise on the data volume (Committed plan as per july 16 bill).

For some reasons i have not used the data card after 4 aug 2016. If there is no solution to the above issue then please disconnect my data card connection with effect from 5 aug 2016. I shall pay the bill amount of rs 802.00. But definitely not rs 1100.00 for the next cycle.

On aug 13th received a from rcom #[protected] that asked for the complaint. The representative did not have solution to the complaint but said your complaint will be forwarded to higher authority. When i asked for the representative name and reference regarding the communication the line was cut.

Please find below mentioned mail addressed to reliance communication regarding, how rcom is looting its customers.in the name of "upgrade to 4g" and subsequently charging exorbitantly to the customers without taking their consent.


I am not the only customer of the kind but there will be many but who all will not come forward to the raise the issue.

I received phone call from Reliance Comn. land line no. [protected] on[protected] at 1150 and 1430 both the times I had explained the issue. The standard reply was we will forward the issue to higher authority. Both times, inspite of asking, the representative name and reference no was not given and line was cut.

Please help in the following matter.

There is no response to the issue and thus again wrote to RCOM the following mail
Dear Sir,

Please refer to my trailing mails and your mail date 1st Sept, 2016. Till date I have not received any confirmation regarding termination of my data card # [protected] and Service Request ID[protected] dt September 01. It was mentioned that the termination process will take 7 days.

In the mean time I received bill dtd. 5th Sept. 2016 for Rs. 1265.00 the same is attached herewith.

As per our discussions on 1st Sept. 2016, I had was specific about not paying the forth coming bill since it was raised without my consent. There was no communication regarding plan change. During the upgrade process from CDMA to 4g, it was clearly mentioned that your plan will remain the same after upgrade and only you need to purchase new Wi POD device.

This is really pathetic state of a company which cannot communicate with the customers. I would again like to confirm that I shall not pay the current bill and any other bill raised hence forth.

Once again please let me know the status of my request.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for acknowledgement of my complaint. Once again I would like to repeat that as per my mail dtd Aug 11, 2016. I have paid Rs. 802.00 my last bill amount. Hence forth, I shall not pay any amount bill generated under any other PLAN as I had mentioned in my earlier mails.

further billing. During the suspension of the services, you will not be charged for the monthly rental.


The services of your number will be suspended within 7 days.You will receive a call from us within 7 days to process your request.


We would like to inform you that further if you found any discrepence on your bill, we request you to write us.
