I have purchased reliance 3g data card cdma and core unlimited 3g internet package for 6 month period with advance payment for 6 month offer package (6000 rs.) from reliance store on the month of feb 2016. As soon as i completed 4months only reliance stop my 3g data card cdma services saying they are upgrading to 4g and you have to purchased new device and your existing plan will be the same for pending 2 months of your current package they disconnected my data service and they provided me 4g plan of 5 gb default without my notice or any intimation. My complaint is for below points what i spent money to reliance.
1. The package i purchased for 3g data unlimited its still pending for 2 months why reliance disconnect my services for internet that is also i paid 6 month amount.
2. After 4g upgradtion what about my pending 2 months unlimited internet package? Who will pay the cost for that.
3. Reliance provided 5gb limited package and saying you have used extra data and it will cost you 3736 outstanding amount,
4. Reliance didnt provided any information about that your 5gb quota is over and you are using more data.
5. Reliance directly put the amount 3736 in my billing.
As reliance shut down their cdma operations i was asked to upgrade to their 4g service for which i had to buy a new 4g wi-pod for 1200rs and was assured i would get the same plan which is unlimited download. I was assured this by their by 3 reps in their call center. Their website informed the same as well.
I got to know about the change in plan details when i called their customer service as my service was stopped. They had changed my plan to their default one which was 5 gb download limit and they also said i could face additional charges for any further use.
This is fraud as they not only confirmed at their store, email and call center my plan would remain the same.
I tried to call and email even their appellate to get no response. Thoroughly disappointed with reliance, they have lost a customer forever this is complete fraud and cheating with customer and forcefully they do all this without any notice to customer and i am not going to pay any amount for this fraud bill.
I would like the company to deliver as they promised of the same plan i had with their cdma device with unlimited download and no change in the charges. My contact no. Is [protected].
I am requesting consumer court to take a strict action against this fraud.
