[Resolved] Reliance Communications — The modem was not used, still the bill was being sent | |||
CUSTOMER ID [protected]. We have a reliance modem device and have been a customer of reliance for the past 4-5 years. For internet purpose was using 2G internet modem, when the change of modem to 4G speed was told to us, we thought o[censored]pgrading it. A new sim was purchased [protected] and also a new modem device was given to us. As the speed was very bad we contacted all the offices of Reliance but nothing happened. Just the plan for the data usage was changed so the bill amount was reduced. We asked them to check the device and it was suggested that we buy a new modem, the purchase of which would be online. When this did not materialize we asked them to close the services. But despite repeatedly telling them, they did not do so and kept on sending us the bill till the month of Feb.2017. the last bill payed by us was of June 2016 of Rs.570. Suddenly we got a call from an advocate in Lucknow asking us to pay the huge amount 2435 Rs, saying that she was calling from the court. BUT NO WRITTEN Communication was done in this regard. This is really strange. We contacted the reliance office where it was told that the amount be wavered and the company would give a call in this regard. This was in March, but no one ever called and neither did we get a mail in this regard. On 13th May again we get a telephonic call saying that we have to deposit the whole amount otherwise a case would be filed in High court, Delhi. Again there is no written communication. This is sheer harassment of the customer, who took your services for 5 years and had plans to upgrade. Due to sheer negligence of the company, the customer is spending so much time in dealing with this issue, with no fault of the customer. Please look into the matter urgently and relieve us from the mental agony and harassment. The amount needs to be wavered and the matter closed at the earliest. Was this information helpful? | |||
