Reliance General Insurance — reliance general insurance - reimbursement & policy cancellation issue - sukhdeo raut policy no[protected]

My name is mr. Ranjit sukhdeo raut holding policy[protected] named as reliance general policy and son of mr. Sukhdeo changdeo raut. I have taken reliance general policy for my father and mother (Joined policy).

Below are the policy details -

My father was admitted in hospital due illness dated on 18th september 2019 to 21 september 2019 in sidhivinayak critical care hospital, uruli - kanchan, pune - 412202.

On a same day i intimated this information to reliance general policy by toll free number[protected] and mail (Reicl. [protected]@relianceada.com) and i got the intimation number - [protected]

As per policy rule, i have couriered my father’s file by speed post on 3rd october 2019 for reimbursement on following address.

Also, i received documents acknowledgement confirmation mail on 7th october 2019.

On 15th october 2019 i got claim query as policy holder cancel cheque required. {please check attached 15th october 2019 query (Claim-query-15-oct-2019. Pdf).} in response to that query, i submitted my father cancel cheque by speed post on 17th october 2019 and got the confirmation for documents receive on 21st october 2019.

On 07th november 2019, got 2nd claim query as
(1). Kindly provide complete indoor case papers with initial assessment sheet, consultant notes, drug administration sheet/nursing notes of present hospitalization.
(2). Kindly provide post discharge consultations papers for further processing.

In answer to 2nd query i have submitted documents (Hard copies) by post on 3rd october 2019 and received confirmation mail on 7th october 2019. Again, i requested to hospital for these documents and they provided attested copies of these documents and couriered documents by speed post to you on 14th november 2019.

I have shared all the documents (Scanned copies) to rgicl. [protected]@relianceada.com.
Had discussion with your customer care executive on 14th nov19, details as below,

Expected date to resolve reimbursement - 25th nov19

For third party verification your representative came to our house, also on same day they visited the hospital as well on 20th nov19. While discussion with him he said our reimbursement might get resolved in 2-3 business day. We didn’t get the reimbursement till date.

On 25th november 2019 i got another claim query as we are not able to pay this reimbursement and your has been cancelled.
Please check attached claim query document which we got on 25th november 2019 (Claim-query-25-nov-2019. Pdf).
Also, i reconfirmed with hospital for the same as they have provided all the valid documents with you.

I am not sure what went wrong on your end, but as far as this claim is concerned, all the documents are genuine.

I was provided all the documents which i got from hospital, you can always verify all information from the hospital also you did verification from your side by sending representative on 20th nov19 as have mentioned above.

Also i forwarded mail with all the documents to nodal officer and head grievances of reliance company (Rgicl. [protected]@relianceada.com and rgicl. [protected]@relianceada.com) but i didn't get any reply for them.


I am frustrated, that for a small amount of rs. 17086/. You (Reliance) guys are trying to act like your policy holder is a fraud. This is really a very bad experience from reliance general insurance.

I request you to take attention on highest priority and get things resolved asap before i take any further judiciary action.

4 Months ago taken a Insurance package of commercial vehicle .

But now i want to transfer the vehicle category from school bus to passenger vehicle..
But this company disagree to do this.

Few month ago company's employer has said ...
This can be done easily when in need.

But now company is saying this can't be done..
When i was filling form i paid the fees of ctet2020 on 10 feb 2020, amount was 1000/-. Amount cut from my account however form was showing fees has not sumitted yet then i had to pay again.
So i paid double fees for one form.

Kindly help me to get my extra money back.
