I, Neeraj Kumar Pandit, took a personal loan from YES Bank, during which I was sold a Personal Loan Care Insurance Policy by Reliance General Insurance. The policy promised coverage for 6 months of EMI payments in the event of job loss or termination.
In October 2024, I lost my job at Husk Power Systems and promptly filed a claim under the policy. Despite submitting all required documents, including a termination letter issued by the Labour Office, my claim has faced undue delays. YES Touch (YES Bank's grievance redressal) has repeatedly rejected the documents, citing the need for additional stamps, even though the letter is on the company's official letterhead.
This continuous harassment has caused significant mental and financial distress, as I am unable to pay my EMIs due to the job loss.
I request immediate settlement of my claim and appropriate compensation for the undue hardship caused.
