Reliance General Insurance — Unnecessary delay in Claim settlement and Consumer harassment and Negligent conduct

This is my worst and horrible experience with Reliance general insurance. I trusted on reliance company and purchased Reliance COVID 19 Protection insurance policy (Policy attached) in June 2020 having policy no[protected] to protect myself from COVDI 19 in the ongoing pandemic. The policy states that if I am diagnosed with Covid 19, I will get Sum assured of Rs. 200000. Unfortunately, I got tested positive for COVID 19 on 21/04/2021 (Reports attached). I applied for the claim through their online portal on 22/04/2021 with claim no [protected] and attached all the necessary documents (Claim form attached). Subsequently, I had submitted my COVID Positive report in ICMR format on 19/05/2021 as requested by their customer care team (Report attached). The same was acknowledged by the customer care team on phone and also via mail dated 01/06/2021. On 03/06/2021 I complained to IRDA and also escalated the matter in reliance grievance hierarchy. On 23/06/2021, I again got a mail from reliance asking for the same report which had already been submitted several times before. Still, I replied with Report in ICMR format attached. Now again on 29/06/2021, I received the same email asking for the report. This is harassment and wastage of time of the customer. After all the struggle and delay they are not addressing this issue properly and even their customer support are not giving a proper reason for the delay in claim amount settlement. Ther are just making me fool for more than 2 months and unnecessarily delaying my claim settlement.

Please help me to get my claim settled as early as possible. Otherwise, I will be forced to take legal action.
