[Resolved] Reliance Gsm — disgusting and pathetic customer service | |||
Dear all, My complaint pertains to the Rourkela circle of Reliance GSM network. I have been a high use postpaid customer since December 2013, but due to inadequacy of service and network connection I made a decision to shift to prepaid network. When I put forward my request to the local customer service office on May 10, 2014, Mr. Rajesh Neema behaved very indecently and denied taking my request hence shifting my transfer for a month. After shifting to the prepaid on 3rd May, 2014, the activation was delayed by a day. As per general norms, I recharged my account with 58, 72, 123, and 220 vouchers. On doing the same my account should have been credited with 1gb 3g data pack and Rs.240 worth of talk time. On the contrary I was credited only 0.5 GB datapack along with the full talk time. As I approached the customer care I was given an assurance that its a general norm and the rest would be credited to my account in 48hours. Inspite of my reminding the customer care my account was not credited and over a period of time as the usage crossed the 0.5gb credited to my account the company started deducting my main prepaid balance every time there was a data exchange. I approached the executives in the position of command namely Mr. Deepak Jena [protected], Mr. Sandip [protected] and Mr. Amit Mohanty [protected]. At least Mr. Amit received the calls and gave some help, but Mr. Deepak and Mr. Sunil never had the time even to take the calls. But it was of no help, the so called customer executive officers themselves neither had time to look into the complaint nor had the decency to revert back to the customer. This was really disgusting and pathetic on Reliance's part as to have employed such officers into a division for which they have no time. Till now Rs. 200 approx has been deducted from my account in lieu of the data charges which I have already paid for. This is a clear case of cheating the customer along with pathetic and disgusting service by the undisciplined and rude staff. I really cannot digest this kind of service from pan Indian company like reliance. I am not even sure if its just me facing the issue or other people are also facing the same but don't have enough time to take up the issue with the authorities. I had even called the appellate but nobody answered the calls. With this incident which has already caused a lot of harassment and wastage of time I also plan to disconnect all the reliance services that I use and would also try to ask friends and relatives to do the same. Please seriously look into the matter and come out with a solution else I wouldn't mind taking legal action for the same. Regards Ashish Banka A very disgusted customer.
