Numerous unwanted VAS services are activated on my mobile number.
Around forty rupees was deducted from my number by activating USSD, techzoneSMS, One97 etc.
It was promptly refunded when complained by sending an email to [protected]@relianceada.com. I thought the service was great. I also explained in my mail explicitly that I never subscribe to VAS under any circumstances and requested them to deactivate all VAS.
Again with gap of one day Rs.5 for techzoneSMS and Rs.10 for techzoneSMS (totally Rs.15) was deducted from my balance. Again sent a mail to [protected]@relianceada.com and Rs.10 was refunded.
Rs. 5 was not refunded. Again sent a mail but to no avail. got a message from RM-Reliance.
The body of the message is as follows:
"Dear Relaince customerSR[protected] has been resolvedYour wrong decrement has been verified & amt.is deducted against Full audio usage"
I am contemplating legal action against this fraud. It is not a matter of five rupees.
Now again got a message from 51234 that I have subscribed to free trial offer for Missed Call Alert service and this offer expires on 7th day.
I subscribed to none of the services.
One VAS or the other is getting activated on my mobile number [protected] without my consent and with out my knowledge. I object to this in the strongest possible terms and also request TRAI officials to look seriously in to such matters. Don't know how many customers are a victim of such irresponsible and arrogant attitude of reliance.
May be they are considering us customers ch**tiyas who will keep mum and continue with the services.
I want my money (Rs.5) refunded and all kind of VAS deactivated on my number including the missed call alert service and never to activate any VAS on my number in future. Was this information helpful? |
