I wish to lodge a complaint against Reliance Jio AirFiber for deficiency in service, failure to fulfill service commitments, and non-refund of relocation charges despite repeated assurances.
I was an active Jio AirFiber customer and submitted a relocation request through the Jio application. At the time of placing the request, an amount of Rs. 1, 200 was deducted as relocation charges. The relocation was initially scheduled for 08 June 2026.
However, despite the scheduled appointment, no technician visited my premises and the relocation was not carried out. After making multiple calls to Jio Customer Care, the relocation was rescheduled to 12 June 2026. Even on the revised date, the service was not relocated, and no satisfactory explanation was provided.
Due to Jio's repeated failure to provide the promised service, I requested disconnection of my AirFiber connection on 13 June 2026. During my conversation with the customer care representatives, I was assured that my connection would be disconnected and the Rs. 1, 200 relocation charges would be refunded within 7–8 days, as the relocation service had never been provided.
It has now been more than 10 days, and I have neither received the refund nor any update regarding the status of my request. I have contacted Jio Customer Care on several occasions to seek clarification. Unfortunately, every time I raise the issue, my call is transferred to another department and gets disconnected without any resolution. This has caused considerable inconvenience, unnecessary expenditure of time, and mental harassment.
Reliance Jio has failed to:
Provide the relocation service after collecting relocation charges.
Honor its commitment to refund the relocation charges within the promised timeframe.
Offer proper customer support or grievance resolution despite repeated follow-ups.
I request the Consumer Helpline to intervene and direct Reliance Jio to:
Refund the relocation charges of Rs. 1, 200 immediately.
Take appropriate action for the deficiency in service and unfair customer support practices.
Ensure that such practices are not repeated with other consumers.
