Dear All

Please see below the facts of the case of how executives of Reliance Jio conduct fraud and make false promises to customers:

1. On 28 May 2022, Siddharth Singh from Jio came to our residential building and put across a scheme saying that if we take 1 (one) Jio setup box connection, we will get 3 (three) connections of the Jio setup box free of cost.

2. On the same date, (28 May 2022), we purchased the scheme and paid for the setup boxes, as were asked to pay an amount of INR 10, 000 (INR 2, 500 for each setup box) as security deposit which would be entirely refunded to us once and if the connection/services of the setup box were discontinued by us.

3. Additionally, we also paid an amount of INR 3, 526.46 on 28 May 2022 for setup box services of 6 months.

4. After 3 months from 28 May 2022, we started receiving calls and messages asking us to pay the bills for the 3 setup boxes, which we were told would be free of charge (as we paid for the 1 setup box).

5. On 1 December 2022, a person named Ujjwal came and took away our 3 setup boxes and we were told we would get our security refund as stated in point 2 above within 15 days.

6. Please note that in spite of constant follow-ups, we have not been refunded the money yet. This is gross misconduct on the part of the people working for Jio where the hard-earned money of customers is taken away. I await my refund of INR 7, 500 but have stopped receiving any response from Jio executives.

7. It is a shame that a brand like Jio cannot conduct basic due diligence of people working for them or train them well to cater to the basic information needs of a customer.

8. Request you to please take action and give me my hard earned money back. Please let me know if any additional information is required from my end.

9. I hope this issue is resolved amicably and I am not forced to lodge a complaint with the local police.

    I made a recharge of 749Rs.I have all the transaction Id.. But my recharge was not done pending from Jio operator.. But my money is deducted from my bank. And I am not getting any customer care number of Jio. Kindly refund my money enough fraud has been done..

        I am using several JIO sims under corporate plan. I have to recharge the wallet before I can recharge the sims. I recharged the wallet on 02 Dec with amount 5000 and after that recharged my 4 sims with amount 179, 179, 179, 358 so there must be balance of Rs.4100 but it became zero.
        I lodged complain thru mail to JIO on 13th Dec. They gave service request SR00001FZ9II. It seems that they are not interested to solve the problem. When I wrote further to JIO again I was given a service request SR00001G3KZ5 dated 19 Dec 22.
        All the time JIO representative asks for screen shot of payment given, balance amount showing on portal etc.
        I have wasted my hours due to fault of JIO. JIO representatives are so dull that they took 10 days to understand my problem.
        Is JIO not looting public money by deliberately having fault in its software?
        I think it is policy of JIO to harass so much to the complainant that they will stop complaining.

        They are only taking time of 24 to 48 hours to solve the issue. Most of the time they write - "I have escalated this case to the concerned team". This problem could have been solved in 1 day by JIO but due to their apathy towards customers it has not been solved. I am wasting my energy and time daily but it does not make any difference to JIO.

          Kindly go through below incidents written in detail -
          While opting for a Jio Fiber connection in the month of Sep'22 in Kolkata (700040) area, the sales person named "Sanjoy Mondal" requested us to take another connection due to the reason that 'in our residence building does not have any Jio Customers till date'. We agreed to this scheme after receiving verbal confirmation from the sales person that they will withdraw/cancel the other connection (Additional connection taken in the name of my wife having registered phone number of [protected]) after few days and we will get INR 1500/- amount as refund which we have already paid.

          Connection 1 - [protected] (Active and Working)
          Additional Connection - [protected] (Cancelled and waiting for refund)

          Now after following up for 3 months (both connections taken in September 2022), we are still waiting for somebody to come and collect the additional internet box and initiate refund process.

          In our dismay we are still waiting. Seems like a new fraud scheme invented by Jio company to loot normal Customers.

          Kindly arrange to get our refund initiated.

              I recently upgraded to a new phone and ever since I changed it I am unable to activate iMessage and FaceTime. I have tried literally everything. Jio care has been useless so far. I have contacted them via twitter and WhatsApp but they give generic responses with no solutions. Things that I have tried:

              1. Removed and insert sim again (didn't work).
              2. Reset Network settings (didn't work).
              3. Rest my phone to factory settings (didn't work).
              4. Swapped my sim in another phone (didn't work).
              5. Tried apple support but they said it's network operator's fault and Jio Care said it is apple's fault (like seriously).
              6. I tried restoring my phone to iOS 16.1.2 (one lower firmware than the latest) (didn't work).
              7. I restored to iOS 16.2 (didn't work).
              8. Tried enabling iMessage and FaceTime with Apple ID (with no problem) with hope that it might jump start the activation to the phone (didn't work).
              9. Tested the sms service (can receive and send normal text messages).
              10. Tried airplane mode and turning my network back again (didn't work).
              11. Topped up my phone with balance (20rs) (didn't work).
              12. Deregister my phone number on Apple ID and registered it again from phone's settings (didn't work).
              13. I also checked that my phone number is written in SettingsPhone. I deleted and wrote it again (didn't work).

              I have tried every possible scenario I can imagine and read on the internet. And it's not the fault of the phone (14 pro) because I tested my dad's Airtel sim which activates the iMessage and FaceTime on my phone.

              It's so infuriating because jio care has been useless. They even ghosted me on twitter dm's. If today I go and give a request to port my number to Airtel or Vi, jio customer service would literally beg me to give them "another chance". But when the situation I am in, I ask them to help me, they disregard their customers like they don't care. I might actually port my number and save the hassle of jumping through the hoops. This is my last ditch effort.

                I got jiofiber installed on[protected]. It's not even a month that I'm facing internet outage every alternate days. I have complained numerous times to their consumer service but they are still not able to resolve the issue.
                Internet works for one day and next day again there is disconnection.

                I work from home and I'm fully dependent on internet throughout the day.
                Also Jio takes 3 months of charge in advance, so in spite of bad internet services, customer has to bear for 3 months or their money is lost.

                I feel that I'm not being provided with the services as promised by Jiofiber and also cheated as they have already taken advance payment of three months and are least bothered about customer's grievances and difficulties faced.

                I'm attaching few of the chats which I had with their customer service with the span of 20 days.

                  I have called jio customer care about 15 times from Saturday 10.12.2022 regarding internet issue they haven’t bother to take a complaint after multiple calls they have taken complaint on 12.12.2022 complaint number SR00001FX9DC while booking appointment jio customer care executive committed the engineer will visit the residence and query will be resolved by 12.12.2022 noon 12-1.30 pm but no response after which i called up jio again they rescheduled the appointment 5-6.30 again there is no response again i called up jio again they rescheduled the appointment 7-8.30 again no response after which i got agitated and contacted jio again they regretted their mistake and again appointment rescheduled on 9- 10.30 but still there is no response from any personnel

                  This type of service is embarrassing and even iterative followups the customer is resulted with no resolution but fatigue

                  3 days before every due date we are getting reminders for payment but while redressing a query the service remains a misery

                  Keeping customers in the dark and agitating them doesnt serve the purpose

                  Team kindly look into it and do the needful

                    My is consuming fastly inspite of no enough usage . The company is scamming people they are not giving 1.5 GB per day they are only giving 750 MB . The worst company it should be banned.

                      I have order jio fibernet connection and paid for the installation a very long time ago and got order no NO0000NT3XNL after that no one comes to install and it going reschedule again and again also no one has come yet for installation.This is the worst service i have ever seen. The person who registered for my jio account never picks up my calls or gives a proper response.It’s been 7 days but no proper reply from the team.Is 7 days not enough or what????.I have never seen such a bad team.I think jio has to take severe actions over such matters. We invest in their company in the hope of getting good service but here they don’t even respond properly. I am working professional and never expected this worse service from jio side.

The next one Bikram Sardar pH no(+[protected] he came and told no such things to do and only to recharge for 3 month direct and he will upgrade to 5g router for free.But today when he came for installation he's asking for 4.5k and direct recharge for 6 months. This is a total scam no surety of anything. So either resolve this or I am switching to Airtel extreme..

                                Jio agent sold me a jio fiber plan that it's tenure is 1year now in 6months i got a call from jio executive that the plan is expiring. this agent is now getting backed of from his words .                                   I am using JIO FI ROUTER M2S from so many days, I am using this router very carefully as per the user manual given.
                                  But still due to cheap quality of Manufacturing, Recently I noticed the battery was swollen.
                                  It happened not only to me. But to all my team mates also (Of course their matter was not related to me). But still not only me it is happening to everyone using the same Routers.You can see all away in the internet also regarding that.

                                  So I called the customer service number. They had said they cant exchange due to out of warrenty. But still since it is not my fault.If battery capacity decreases then I wont ask you for exchange sir because it is gradual process.
                                  Buldging or swelling of battery is also a MFG defects of cheap quality.

                                  So What I am requesting is kindly exchange the battery to me because it is not my fault sir as used it very carefully.
                                  So kindly I am requesting to only exchange my battery so that I can use my router as usually.

                                    Its regarding my jio connection[protected] i have allready before disconnecting nd when i spoke at customercare on 18.08.2022 she told you will get toral 3500rs as refund within 14days after disconnection and device pickup but sorry to say i have received only 1500 rs why you people have not given me Rs3500 want the answer immediately on my email as i am having conversations of your customer care madam if you want i will post to social media ypu people are telling one amount and giving me less amount why 3500 rs not given and why only 1500rs given can you tell me ...

                                      Good evening sir,
                                      I want to register complaint against jio care. They are very unresponsive. I lost my international roaming sim [protected] at UK. I am a Indian studying at UK and all my accounts are linked with my Indian Number [protected].
                                      I called them and get my sim blocked so that no one can misuse it.

                                      I requested them how to get jio dulicate sim but they are not replying. I have mailed them around 10 times. No reply is coming from their grievance team. I am upset as i want my number back so that i can assess all my accounts. But they are not replying.

                                        I have recharge on my phone from my csc wallet. Money deducted from wallet today 12/Dec/2022 at 3.10 am. But still now not receive my recharge.
