Hi,
This is to bring to all user and competitor of Jio about how smartly Jio is playing their game.
1) Most of the user complains their 1 GB data is used up in no time. (1/2 hour you tube video with low resolution settings or most of the time without any use we get msg your 90% limit is used.
2) Based on today's discussion with Jio customer care, there is no mechanism where they can provide where this data is used.
3) They wont share any network traffic.
4) They will not register your complain with statement "Since our system is showing you have used data so we cannot take complaint on this."
5) It is like they have become God, they will always tell truth and no one should challenge them.
This message is to all Jio and Non Jio users, and to the Jio competitor. Reliance as famous on ripping customers pockets, and Jio is one of new state of art model. They are publicizing, they are the cheapest, they are fastest and they are having most of the customers, but what they are not telling is their false statement of giving 1 GB or 2 GB data for which customers have paid.
How come when I download a You tube video it take only 200+ mb but when same video with same resolution on same device I watch online takes 600+ mb ? Why there is no tracking mechanism provided to check ip address of sites where the data is downloading/uploading.
Some nonsense intellectuals will come, since you connect multiple devices, so there possibly software updates, cloud backup and other nonsense is going on.
This may be fact in few scenario but now every one is smart enough and most o[censored]s disable auto update software still how does this applies when same video shows difference usage when download and watch live with same resolution. The difference is not few mb but its double or triple.
It looks like Jio has played smartly, claim 1 GB is given everyday, but inside it is given only 400 MB or less. Since there is no way to track so best is blame on cloud and updates.
Smart play Jio but this not going to work in long way when 65% of our population is young, smart and tech savvy.
Initially I thought Jio is great start but looks like if Jio will expand and become only telecom company in Industry, he will start ripping same like old story of 2001 (Mobile free in 501 ) then after 2 yrs pay thousand to settle the account.
Reliance Jio Infocomm customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
