Dear sir,
We had prebooked Jio phone in August for the use of my mother and aunt. The reason we got it is it was advertised as free of charges for voice calls, and cost is only for sms and data.
Today 23-11-17 we got the phone using aadhar card and they said after getting this phone that we have to pay 153.. We bought it as a free voice calling option, for very few calls. We cannot pay 153 per month to use this phone, there is no sms or data used.
We want to return it immediately (we have not used it) for a refund, because this is not what we signed for.We are not going to use this phone.
If this is not resolved, we will approach the court in this issue, as my elderly parents have been tricked.They were only told after fingerprinting that have to keep paying every month. They use ohone only for enmergencies, that is they bought a free adveryised phone.

Usually consumer courts will return things in the same or next day or if the company cheated you. In thus we were misinformed.
