I has been over 3 days after the activation of my Jio eSim. I upgraded my Jio Sim to eSim on the 30th of June, and received the activation email after a couple of hours, however there was no signal back then. I was told that SMS services remain dormant for 24 hours after activation, so I waited to see if the signal would return after 24 hours. But nothing came back. It seemed as if there wasn't any sim at all.
I contacted Jio's customer support multiple times, emails, chats and call. I was told over call that the specialists responsible for handling eSim issues were not available. On chat and email I kept getting the same responses that 5g network was being updated and that I must wait, even though everyone I knew with a Jio SIM was not having any trouble using theirs.
It has already been 3 days, and I still do not have any network with the number I have registered in all my official records. I am completely fed up and am at the point of giving up and updating my Aadhar details with my Airtel number instead.
I guess this is what happens when one company holds market monopoly. I have attached a couple pictures of the CSRs' responses. I hope it goes to someone who cares and I get some help.
